We loved the Millennium Baileys hotel so much we would stay here a million times over. The location was absolutely perfect with the Gloucester Road tube station just across the road and the beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get out of them in the morning. The staff were friendly and very helpful too. The shower on the... More

Dear Luckyserge, First and foremost thank-you for your comment posted on Tripadvisor.com. I am sorry to read that you had some inconveniences with your hot water. Clearly this is not acceptable in any hotel. On that occasion we should have moved you to another category of room. With regards to Internet, we can set up a fix fee of £10... More

Had a four night stay at this hotel. The staff were nice and helpful although a bit stoic. The room was clean, comfortable and not at all cramped. The hotel is right across the street from the Gloucester station making it easy to get around town. The Victoria and Albert museum is not a far walk. Across from the hotel... More

Stayed her for three days. Just what you'd expect from a hotel of this standard. Lots of airline pilots. Breakfasts you could die for. Have as much as you want and hot too. Staff very helpful. All in all a great stay. Two minutes from Gloucester Road Tube.

I stayed at this hotel in Sept-after flying in overnight it was so nice to see the hotel right after emerging from the Tube. Just a slight warning-there are some stairs at the tube station. A note on the tube- there are three tube lines that go into Gloucester Road, one from the Airport and the other two go to... More

I decided to book a room at this hotel after having had a meal in their restaurant, Olive's, where I was impressed with the friendly, efficient service and the quality of the food. I got quite a good deal though lastminute.com and was delighted with the room. Very comfortable bed (with a luxurious mattress topper) and large screen TV. Only... More

I spent one week at this hotel and have to say it was a good choice. The convenience to the Gloucester Road tube station and the neighborhood restaurants were welcome. The staff was attentive but not overly friendly, which was fine. The floors did creak, but I only noticed it when walking on them. The hotel does need to do... More

We stayed for two nights in early August. It was okay. Reception was "polite" as the British can typically be. No warmth or friendliness there. All business. Room was down a long, long hallway, up and down stairs, through closed doors etc. The room itself was'nt had. Spacious enough, comfortable, but with the CREAKIEST floors - my word!! That definetly... Dear Jazzlover23, First of all, thank-you for your comments and for staying at the Millennium Baileys Hotel. My husband and I traveled with our 2 kids and requested adjacent rooms, for the children, which the hotel gladly honored. Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
