me and my cousin have stayed 4 nights in this Hotel and immediately we have find out that it is in front of the underground of Gloucester Road; from Victoria Station it was very easy to arrive and we moved in a few time to reach all our destinations in London. It is between Notting Hill/Portobello and Piccadilly/Covent garden, near... More

This used to be a wonderful hotel, but not any more. Be warned! Be careful of trusting any reviews written before May 2012. Under the new management, most of the staff are rude (especially Tony at reception) and unhelpful and if you make a complaint, you'll be treated with utter contempt. I have spent more than £5,000 staying at this... More

Dear Ms Hyland, I am very sorry that you feel your recent experience was not up to your previous ones. I was naturally very concerned to learn about your concerns and I can assure you that my team and I take guest feedback very seriously and these are discussed and investigated at length. I am aware that upon check in... More

We have stayed in this hotel 5 times before and really like its location. The nearest tube station is Gloucester road on the Piccadily line ( as soon as you exit the station the Millenium Baileys is directly on you right, approx 20 yards away) which is ideal for the West End Theatres, Covent Garden, Leicester Square and access to... Me and my best friend spent a total of 6 night at this beautiful hotel. We were surprised to find the hotel located only 30m from the tube station Glouchester road, with is on the Victoria line. There were several restaurants and grocery-stores in a walking distance of 5 minutes, and the Starbucks became our guilty pleasure after days upon... More

This comfy old hotel is even more convenient than it may appear at first glance. It is just across the street from the Gloucester Road underground station, making it a straight shot from Heathrow Airport on the Piccadilly Line, a fast and inexpensive way to reach London from the airport. Unlike most Piccadilly Line stations, Gloucester Road also serves the... More

This was my second stay at the M.B. - the first was in 2010 & it was a great experience then, so I had no qualms about returning ... but my experience this time around was much different. I recently took a coach full of WI ladies to this hotel for an overnight stay, the day previous to the NFWI AGM at the Albert Hall. Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
