I booked 1 nights stay at the Hotel and was due to travel on 26/03 for my partners Birthday. I booked the hotel room on 5/02 sadly over the weekend that followed my partner was involved in a serious car accident and is now in a critical state. Given that situation it would be totally unfeasible for us to consider... More

Really glad we booked this hotel. Was the cheapest price in the right area i could find for the dates i was looking for (so it was relative to London prices obviously) and we weren't disappointed. The entrance is directly opposite the Gloucester Road tube station so it's really accessible for the rest of London and is in an area... More

The working people at this hotel really earn their money-they are fantastic. Everything about this hotel is superb. It's not a luxury villa but its clean, comfortable and the staff all deserve a raise for their attention to detail.

Hotel has recently been refurbished and has been completed to a high standard. Staff are very friendly and is in a great position just yards from tube station. An easy walk to Albert Hall and museums. Didn't eat in the hotel as there are plenty of places near by but Italian restaurant seems to be rated highly.

I stayed over the weekend for business. Welcomed by Aloysius at the reception when I walked in to hotel, very polite and efficient, brought me to my room which is also an added bonus. The room was spaceious and very tidy. Design of the room was modern and simple. Old Building yet there is a character to it and I... More

I believe this is one of the best in Gloucester Road area as quality/price. And Gloucester/Kensington are good area to be far away from tourism, enjoy real London and be very close to everything. Excellent room, clean, large enough, perfectly kept and decorated. There is attention to everything, including closing the doors in the building aisle to limit noise during... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
