Nice location for this hotel. From airport you have to take the tube ... You will arrive in 35' just in front of the hotel ! Rooms are very comfortable ...breakfast is nice. Dark spot : the wifi ... Does not work in my computer !? Ok on the phone but not very stable. Good place to be anyway.

We recently spent 5 nights at Bailey's. The hotel location is great, literally across the street from the Gloucester tube station. Kensington is a nice area to stay in, while not right in the middle of London it is a short tube ride to most tourist attractions, and shopping. All around the hotel are pubs, restaurants, pharmacies, post office, shops.... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel recently. It is conveniently located in South Kensington near the Gloucester road station so you can travel by underground easily to almost anywhere in Greater London. The hotel is in a vibrant neighbor with many good restaurants and is very close to the Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert museum.... More

Stayed in millennium Bailey with my family few years ago, impressed by the spacious room and the tube across the street. Close to the Waitrose and pharmacy that fulfills most of needs (water, food.....). Therefore when I had the chance to visit London again this time, I chose the same hotel. The location is excellent, great breakfast and same delightful... More

I've stayed at Bailey's several times over the past ten years or so. The recent room remodeling has made for the very comfortable experience, which my wife and I had this Spring. The room was very nice though somewhat small, with a king-sized bed that was as good as they get. The remodeled bath was an improvement over the old... More

I chose Baileys Hotel because I love the South Kensington area for its proximity to the Museums, shopping, parks, Underground; easy to get anywhere in London from here. The hotel is right next door to the Gloucester Road tube station on the convenient Piccadilly Line, and about a block from a Boots chemist and a full-service Waitrose supermarket, so handy... More

We stayed in a newly refurbished room Slightly wierd that there was an ironing board leaning up against the wall but other than that the room was perfect. Spacious for a room in London and really clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a great location right next to the Glouster Road tube station and the drinks... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
