I have stayed here before and it was great to receive a warm welcome felt like coming home to family. Raed was specially kind and helped with getting me a superior room in minutes and having my bags placed on a luggage rack in the new room immeaftly. Yet again he was prompt to help and telling you all about... More

Compact room , but very nicely furnished , great big TV and amenities in room. The BEST view of knightsbridge over to Hyde park. The room was just too warm with A/C heating only , but windows open for ventilation... a very pleasant stay and excellent value for money especially considering location.

I had never previously stayed at this particular hotel and an acquaintance of mine had booked me a room. Upon arrival, the receptionist was very mannerly and efficient. I was given a choice of two floors .. a low one, or a high one. I chose the latter (Floor 12) as i was informed the higher floors were quieter and... More

Booked into the Hotel for four nights ending on Easter Saturday, from memory on my itinerary, I though at the time that the room was overpriced but let it go based on the holiday season. On Arrival, they attempted to take a security deposit for the minibar by credit card, except the machine didn't work. . It took four staff... More

For the last 15 years i have stayed at the Millennium Gloucester and my last review from New Year was not good as I was disappointed in the 'dumbing down' of their Club Lounge. Despite this hotel having a superb location. Our overall experience was underwhleming to say the least. Unless you were dressed to the nines, the staff did not seem to bother with you. For example: my husband and I arrived at the check in desk with our luggage, and were casually/informally dressed. The consierge ignored us and proceeded to serve a... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
