The list of complaints is lengthy, however things do go wrong and its how they are dealt with which determines how good a place is! Hence the ZERO, despite a catalogue of complaints emailed to the hotel no-one has had the courtesy to respond, that in my book shows there is absolutely ZERO interest in customer service and therefore deserves... It is right beside hyde park and there's a tube station only a couple of hundred yards away there is plenty of space in the appartments but the bathroom door wouldn't lock and the shower door wouldn't shut properly although this was not to big a problem as there was 2 bathrooms other than that it's a brilliant hotel

We were upgraded to this hotel as the one we had original booked into had a maintenance issue and boy were we pleased! I discovered later on that we wouldn't have been able to afford to stay somewhere as nice as this hotel as it would have cost us double what we original paid! My partner and I both work... More

It is near the tube and bus for West End and getting around. It is a beautiful building and I was disappointed not to have a front room or a large room. It has beautiful furniture and I was tickled pink by having a piece of furniture in the drawing room that was used by Lilly Langtry a Royal Mistress... More

We frequently travel to London for short stays and always have trouble finding a reasonably priced hotel well located near the tube and with nearby things of interest. Well I believe we have found it in this hotel. The rooms were clean spacious and well appointed but a bit quirky with some odd steps to navigate. But the comfort of... More

We were looking for a cosy and nice hotel instead of a modern dragoon. We did find it at Lancaster Gate. This small hotel had a charming atmosphere with friendly staff. The location at Lancaster Gate made it very easy to access. The brakfast was not overwhelming but good enough for us. You can always have breakfast at any coffeehouse... More

We stayed in an apartment, separate block 100 m off the main building. (Family of five, bit tricky to find good accomondation) Flat ok, actually good standard. Problem is the four star; the hotel doesnt fully live up to expectations: room was ready 4pm, not 2pm. In the flat - ours was located on 5th floor, no elevator - there... More

We had a triple room booked for New Years Eve through Booking.com at a very reasonable price of £210. When we arrived we thought it was in a great location, close to Lancaster Gate Subway. The exterior was excellently presented, as was the interior reception. When booking in i jokimg asked for a cheeky upgrade as it was New Years... More
