Not the best place I've stayed but was more than acceptable. Comfortable bed in a warm room. Shower and bath. Plenty of tv channels. Very close to Bayswater for some good food and tube trains. I can't comment on the staff because we had very little need to interact with them. I'd stay again.

This is a hotel you want to visit again. I've been here a number of times in 2013 and I will visit again in the near future. The hotel could do with a makeover, but even if it isn't all that modern or new, the service of all the staff, from reception to maids, really make up for it. It... More

Stayed here for a few nights while visiting London for the first time and a definite pro to the place is the location; train, bus, & tube all within easy, short walking distance. The service was brilliant, couldn't have asked for more. The staff even went out of their way to help even after we'd checked out. Comfortable room, certainly... More

Stayed one night before heading off to our cottage, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Although we were only a couple, we did get one of the family rooms (for the same price as a double bed room), and found the room to be very spacious and quiet. The room and bathroom were clean, and we had adequate hot water... More

I have just had an excellent 2 nights stay in this hotel. Room 401 is up in the roof, very big and very quiet which is what I like. Okay the whole hotel is old but the bed was comfortable, staff friendly and everything worked including lots of hot water. If you want something more modern then go somewhere else... More

We wanted to stay somewhere close enough for a few days to enjoy the sights in London. The location is amazing as it's situated right across Hyde park / Kensington garden. You have your buses out on the main road to hop on and off (don't book golden tours, buses don't come often!). The hotel is close to a busy... More

Stayed here last week of October and wow, I'd not suggest staying here to anyone unless you got the room for say £40 or less. Let's get the 2 positive things done first. Location is close to Hyde Park and the place was easy to find. That is it for the positives. We stayed 2 nights in a double bed.... More

I booked this hotel for my North American group starting in mid-September. The hotel manager (Georgiana) was very helpful and cooperative during the past months getting everything set up for us, making my job much easier. Her hospitality was reflected in the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff during our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is... More

Had a good impression of the place and will come back again in future. The staff was friendly and helpful. Couldnt ask for a better deal in London. Initial fears of a poorly managed hotel was gone as soon as we stepped into the hotel lobby. The staff was warm and friendly, the rooms were just nice for us and... More

The hotel was part of a convention package, I usually prefer hotels outside major cities and prefer a rail commute. The hotel has a good location and is close to bus route 148 (to Westminster) and 94 (to Piccadilly) as well as handy to the tube at Lancaster Gate station. The staff were friendly. My room (403) was on the... More
