We stayed here for 2 nights recently primarily because we had tickets for Warhorse at the New London Theatre which is just a few yards down the road. Its also a great location for Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, China Town, Soho, Shaftesbury Avenue, Covent Garden etc etc... The price compares extremely favourably with other hotels (£100 for 2... More

Generally you know what your going to get in a Travelodge but even I was surprised at the size of the first floor room we got. It must have been double the size of other London hotel rooms we have had in the past. Very clean and comfortable. Waiting for check-in is a bit tiresome if you arrive early so... More

Best location in London. We stayed 4 nights in July 2014. First the reception ...WOW Chyna is un unfair "weapon" against the competition. This person is so nice, what more to say. I agree with previous reviews rooms can get hot in summer, luckily temperature was on our side. Breakfast was more than we needed. As many people said location... More

Arrived with tired son having travelled from Melbourne. No check in early without a ridiculous fee, fair enough that's how they want to make heir money. What really topped that was the refusal to store two SMALL hand luggage bags so we could refresh and relax after our travels until check in in two hours time. So we were basically... More

We stayed 4 nights in Travelodge Covent Garden. The location is excellent. It is 5 minutes walk to Covent Garden, Leicester Square, So Ho and China Town. It is surrounded by theaters and restaurants. There are 2 buildings. We stayed in what looked like the older building from the outside. Our 7th floor room was quiet, big and clean with... More

Very good. Was not expecting tea making facilities or a bath so pleasantly surprised. Good view as was on 12th floor. Breakfast we'll worth the money. Did not experience any problems. Bathroom light did not work but I did not report so not entirely their fault.

I stayed at the Covent Garden hotel before and had forgotten the experience. It will be many years till i return. On the face of it, there is nothing wrong. The rooms are budget but clean and tidy. The bed comfortable, clean sheets, and it's more modern now. The problem here is it just sucks the will to live from... More

We were actually staying in the section on High Holborn Road, as we had a family room. I was particularly impressed with the location - it's close to Seven Dials, Covent Garden, Shaftsbury Avenue and Oxford Street. The room was clean and the lay-out was great - there was a double bed and two single camp beds, ideal for me... More
