If you are visiting London and want a good cheap central hotel then the Travelodge at Covent Garden fits the bill. If you have children opt to have breakfast at the hotel as it is excellant value and "Kids eat Free". We also found the staff very friendly and helpful. Don't expect the Ritz but for the money good sized... More

Excellent place to stay, right in the centre of London. You are able to walk to most places from here. rooms are lovely, cleaned every day. Only downside is the size of the single beds, they are not full size single beds so were really uncomfortable.

Stayed for weeked with my husband, nice room comfortable. good location for all we needed to see.only problem was the room looked out onto drury lane so couldnt have the window open at night as it was noisey think the inner rooms would be better overall good location for west end.

Every possible expense in this hotel has been pared to the bone. There's no left luggage facility and check in isn't till 3pm. There's no aircon, but they give you the smallest fan possible. The room was overlooked, but there was only a curtain not a net curtain. There was only one handtowel for 2 people and no bath mat.... More

Excellent standards expected and experienced. The hotel exceeded what it said on the tin. Spotless, great beds, ample refreshments and right in the heart of theatreland. What's not to like? :) 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

Reception swift service, offering us which floor would we prefer, considering they were busy they were polite and friendly. We visit London every summer child free for a few days of shopping and drinking coffee whilst people watching mostly in the Covent Garden area so this hotel is perfect for our needs. Arrived at Kings Cross and after around 3... More

Stayed at this hotel set in High Holborn and previously at Covent Garden, found both sister hotels to be great value for money! Breakfasts were a little bit similar each day, but was very nice. We ate one evening in the hotel bar/restaurant from the menu, this food was excellent and again very reasonably priced for central London prices! I... More

For the money, I was not impressed. I foolishly thought that because this was in the Covent Garden area, standards would be higher than they were. The whole hotel is shabby and dingy. Definitely not worth the money. The staff were great, though and they do make a big effort to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!... More

It's more of a hostel really. Cutlery, plates and glasses not cleaned properly at breakfast-could feel food on them. Terrible noise outside at night. Greeted by a 4 inch spider in the bathroom on departure....

The hotel is ideally positioned for a visit to the heart of London with good transport links just a short walk away. The hotel exceeded my expectations. It is modern, very clean and very efficient in every respect. Our room was very comfortable and excellent value for money in comparison to other hotels I've stayed in. The buffet style breakfast... Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
