The Travelodge London Covent Garden is a no frills hotel. Very friendly reception, very clean rooom on the 13th (!) floor at the top of the building. Room was basic and big and had a nice view with soundproof windows. Recently refurbished with a good bed. Only drawback in summer might be that there is no airconditioning, except an electric... With the well known national chain Travelodge, you always have a good idea what you're getting. Regular guests would know to take their own toiletries for example because a miserable little bar of cheap soap doesn't cut the mustard or keep you clean. So colour me surprised to find dispensers of hand soap and shower gel at this renovated Travelodge... More

I understand that this hotel is an economy choice, but honestly, it's a corporate name brand and the standards should be at least a but higher. The elevators were in questionable condition, the Wi-Fi access was wonky, and the front desk staff were detached and didn't know much. The customer service (of lack thereof) was probably the worst part about... More

Ideally situated, near bars, cafes and underground stations. Check in easy to do, bar open all night, room comfortable, cool, plenty of space. Cafe as well. Would go again. Staff were friendly. Would recommend this to other people. Good value for money

We visited for 4 nights to celebrate a friends 60th birthday. The hotel was packed , which is always a good sign. Easy walk to Covent Garden and Holburn tubes, the river, Covent Garden itself and lots of bus routes and theaters. The rooms are very basic, with no hair dryer, and hardly a shelf to put clothes on, and... More

Stayed for 1 night, 2 weeks ago to attend an awards ceremony. Arrived early, no chance of an early check-in, so advised to wait in the 'bar' area. Offered free tea/coffee, which was a nice gesture. The bar area reminded me of a school canteen, and when I looking into the 'restaurant' the layout was like the school gym on... More

The hotel is a bit like staying in a multi-storey car park. It is very dark and there are no outside windows in the bar or eating area. I stayed in room 101 (the irony) it was incredibly small, the window was not to the outside world but to a covered car park which made the room stuffy and dark,... More

Got a family room for three mates for the Who concert at Hyde Park. Two singles and a double. Room was clean tidy and the beds fine. Good location for the gig and the pubs and good value at £110 Split these ways. The hotel reception was busy but staff were friendly and efficient. Note this hotel is split into... More

The hotel is in a central area for this part of London, between a number of main stations. The room I stayed in was larger than in other London hotels I've stayed in. I picked a high floor to try and escape the heat of the day. The windows are restricted opening, but still allowed enough breeze to cool the... More

I stay here regularly for work. It's cheap, clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly. Don't overlook it, it's great value for money and lovely and central for sight seeing! Breakfast is good value for money too.
