Second stay at this hotel. Good base for visiting London with Holborn and Covent Garden Tube a short walk away ( Covent Garden Tube Station is exit only until November i think). Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and of course Covent Garden and theatres. Hotel very good value for money. Room a good size, very clean with large comfortable... More

My second time at this hotel and a great place to stay after a long day traipsing around London. Even after a few hours out on the town in the evening it was great to get a drink or two at the bar before bed. The bed was very comfy and fell asleep instantly only to be woken to early... More

Shared a room with a friend on a London drama trip, the room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom had both shower and bath. There was also plenty of choice for breakfast, internet didn't work too well (only could be used in the reception area) and then you had to pay £3 for more internet - to... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, I had one of the rooms which has already been upgraded I have to say very impressed. It is pretty basic but it is also quite comfy. I would take your own toiletries as theirs is all one thing in a container for the wall. I also had breakfast and it was a good choice... More

This hotel is an oasis for theatre goers, walking distance to all the theatres & sightseeing attractions. WE were able to walk to Buckingham palace then on to the London Eye. We stayed in a Family room on the 11th floor, good veiws, for couples you can stay in the one across the road.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for a quick weekend break in Central London. The location is perfect for shopping and sight seeing being right in the middle of Covent Garden. I have stayed here twice now and got a very good price on both stays. However this hotel is very basic, there was no phone, iron and... More

Yes the rooms are basic - in fact travelodge listen up- the curtains drove me nuts and are like something from The retro 80's!! Come on sort it out it won't cost much! Other than the hideous curtains the room was comfortable. Bed was nice got a good night sleep and the view was amazing - can see the shard,... More

This was a sight seeing and Theatre trip for my Partner and myself as he had never visited London before. With Travelodge it's good basic accommodation and we paid the extra for the breakfast buffet which was plentiful and with good choice of hot and cold. We found the stay excellent value for money and the location was ideal for... More

Reasonable price, comfortable, clean, good location and helpful staff. If you want luxury and pampering, this isn't for you. If your budget is tight, you won't be disappointed with this decent hotel. It's location is perfect for theatre land and it's situated on Drury Lane where all the theatres are located. Close by is the tube stations Covent Garden and... More

Neighborhood Profile
Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
