We stayed at this travel lodge as it was in walking distance to the theatre we were going to, the room was very spacious and the bed comfortable, pillars a bit had but overall a very nice experience staying here, we took a room on the 13th floor to avoid noise from the streets as it a very busy area... Overall satisfactory but hotel public areas are in need of a facelift. Good location for Covent Garden. We were in the desperate side of the hotel on high Holborn. Our room was very hot overnight with only one small fan for 4 of us. Breakfast chaotic. Very small area and only 2 staff working. Had to ask for a table... More

Stayed here at the weekend for 2 nights, the hotel reception was slow and chaotic when we tried to check in. The rooms were in a complete different building which we had to find ourselves, the room had a double bed with two fold up beds that where like sleeping on planks, the carpets where filthy, the bathroom was outdated,... we found ourselves in need of a hotel in london and thought this one might be good enough for a few nights. I really wish I paid the few more pounds a night for a different hotel as this hotel was not worth the savings. They falsely advertise on several sites they have AC which they do not. You have... Stayed here for the third time, highly recommend the location, excellent spot for Central London. Covent garden around the corner with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend little cafe across he road for breakfast, all freshly cooked, plenty of choice and hard working staff, cafe Verona. Rooms are comfortable and adequate all you. Red for... Overall ok, despite rebuilding the reception area of the hotel functioned pretty well. Surprisingly noisy at night (internal doors opening and closing) but no too disturbing. Parking close by ( but not cheap). Would stay again.

Room was tired, some lights didnt work, remote didnt work, wardrobe had a temporary repair, seemed to have furniture missing, vent missing. No nets/voiles so curtains shut or people could see in. Hot breakfast consisted of 5 items 1 of which had only been shown the cooker. No facilities to keep your luggage after check-out. Really disappointed will never stay... More

We stayed here August bank holiday weekend with friends. It is easy to find from the tube station, we didn't have to wait long to be checked in although we reserved an early check in room to drop bags off it wasn't ready so had to allocate us another room. The lady that checked us in didn't speak very good... More

A clean, comfortable and convenient Travelodge. Looks like the rooms have recently been updated. Great value and close to everything, especially the theatres. Staff very helpful. Could we have larger televisions please?

Staying in Covent Garden

Neighborhood Profile
Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
