Stayed here for one night on the 20th December, after going to an evening performance of a show. The hotel is clean & tidy and the check-in & check-out were very quick & simple. The room (449) was basic, but the bed & shower were ok, with tea & coffee facility available. We had pre-booked the breakfast and it is... More

I stayed here with a group of 12 girls on a hen do in the summer. It is a perfect hotel for exploring the city. The rooms are large and spacious and the bathroom was clean. There was a bar and restaurant that served a good breakfast downstairs. The location is brilliant, in the heart of Covent Garden. Restaurants, bars... More

Stayed here for the weekend with friends for husbands birthday treat. Hotel was good, breakfast was nice and never packed out which is good. Rooms are very basic but everything there you need. Same problem as in most places which is no plug socket near a mirror for when drying your hair. Rooms very clean and our bed was made... More

Like a prison camp with miserable wardens on duty! Terrible breakfast, burnt and stained ironing boards which u MUST collect from reception if they happen to have a spare one that is! At check in warden asked 'did you want something'?!!! Long live customer service!

Great location for heart of london, we stayed as a group of three and they provided a sofa bed for third. Spacious room, clean + tv, tea and coffee, hairdryer. Go higher floor for a room with a better view

Good location, corridors looked shabby, room was basic as expected but clean and fresh. Have stayed here before and will probably stay again due to location. However we had some noise from another room which delayed getting to sleep so some caution

Great hotel, great location, great prices, would definitely recommend if you want to stay within the Covent Garden area, only a few minutes walk to the hussle and bussle of Covent Gardens. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable, there was no noise from inside the hotel but quite a bit of noise coming from... More

Majority of staff very welcoming and helpful. Excellent location to all areas we were planning to visit. Holborn and covent garden tube 5 mins walk. We had room 711 which was very comfortable with good views. We did not experience any noise. Will be using travel lodge covent garden again when we next visit London.

The point of Travelodges and similar budget chains is that they're cheap but efficient. You're not looking for a luxury hotel experience - and you don't get one - but you do get a clean and functional room with no frills. BUT in recompense it's supposed to be cheap - or at least good value and - I'm sorry -... More

Well situated for sightseeing, etc. But ... quilt really thin. 1 teabag each in room. Pillows and matress sponsored by Blue Circle cement. So don't waste your money unless you don't mind not sleeping ...
