Excellent location close to Baker Street and Regent's Park. Quite silent rooms, save that late birds may talk quite loud in the street at night. Welcome ok, staff ready to help you. Breakfast with slight place for improvement. Food is ok, smiles might be expected. Overall good price/quality ratio

I stayed for one night at this hotel with my sister. The good thing about it is that it is central and convenient, an easy walk from Baker Street tube. We had a twin room which was on the small side and quiet enough though: adequate for one night The bedding was clean and soft. The negatives: The hotel markets... More

I spent a weekend in this hotel and I would recommend it given the fantastic location. is 2 minutes from Baker street tube station. The room was really small but I was in a single room and honestly it had everything, even an ironing board and kettle. Bathroom was nice and new. Comfy bed. Had also air con which was... More

I was looking for a hotel for one night, arriving late and leaving early without paying too much, and wanted a location near the subway and in the centre. So I ended up here and got a very small room downstairs, but still with a windows. I'm glad I just had small bag with me, it would have been hard... More

Booked in for an overnight by an organisation for which I was working which was nearby. We arrived a bit earlier than the official check in time and we were made welcome and received with courtesy and consideration. The room was smallish but par for London hotels, in older buildings. It was certainly adequate for our single night's stay. Soundproofing... More

I enjoyed a one-night stay at the Blandford with my daughter. It's in a great location in a relatively quiet side-street, but just a couple of minutes walk from Baker Street Tube Station, and if you don't want to fight with the crowds around Leicester Square to get a post-theatre drink, there's a nice pub called The Globe just around... We wanted to be close to Regents Park as that was our main reason for the visit to London, but we were also approx.300 metres from Baker Street tube & Madam Taussards. Room was clean, a good size with a king size bed and safe. My biggest disappointment was that the hotel asked to be told about special requests (soya... More

Have been staying at the Blandford for my annual London visits for at least six years. Located in a calm, residential street in the midst of a bustling, vibrant neighbourhood, this quiet, well-maintained hotel offers service with a smile and all necessary modern amenities. My only issue would be the breakfast buffet, where the hot food is no longer visible,... More

The Blandford has a first class location when it comes to seeing the sites of the capital. The room I booked was extremely small but extremely comfortable. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend stay here. Pradeep and staff were quite pleasant and helpful. There are a number of places of interest within walking distance, and the Baker Street tube station is just a couple blocks away with access to many different lines. Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
