We stayed at the hotel in March - the hotel is very centrally located -walking distance to theatres, Soho, Oxford St. The staff were extremely polite and attentive. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They serve the best coffee and very good drinks at the bar.

This hotel reminds me of buying a used car from a broay smiling sales man. While you think you are getting something special upon first glance it's actually not and when you look under the money you see a wealth of issues. Firstly of you want to iron a short be prepared to ask for an iron in your room,... More

Staff very friendly. Rooms very small and in need of uplift and generally overpriced for the experience. You can get better for the price elsewhere in central London. Room was noisy and a/c rattled...

Wonderful location and very friendly staff. Food could be better. We stay twice a year and the Mandeville and have been doing so for the past 15 years. Best hotel in London. Great location and nice people.

This is a very good 4-star hotel in an excellent location with many restaurants/cafes close by. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were attractive and well-appointed and we found it quiet. The Nespresso coffee machine in the room was appreciated, and we happily ordered tea on room service, which always arrived promptly and was beautifully presented!... More

10min walk from Oxford Circus tube station and 5mins from Oxford Street but room was very quiet. Decent size room, big enough for double bed and travel cot with space for pushchair too. Good pressure from shower. Didn't eat at attached restaurant but seemed reasonably priced (for London!). Staff attentive and friendly.

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed here for three days over spring break. It was the first time to London for both of us and we weren't sure where to stay but Orbitz had a great deal for this hotel with included breakfast and we were not disappointed at all. Very convenient location, clean room, attentive staff, and... More

For a first timer to London, this hotel is in a great location. A couple of blocks to Oxford street and the underground . We had booked a standard room and were given an upgrade as Tablet members. The room was large and so was the bathroom. There is an espresso machine for your morning coffee. Our room was on... More

We enjoyed our stay very much and was very warmly greeted and welcomed at the start. Philip the manager personally ensured our stay was well taken care off, and we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a basket of fruits. Small little touches such as Easter Chocolates left on our beds over the Easter weekend made the stay very... More

We had a great stay at The Mandeville Hotel. The room was very clean and all the amenities were supplied and of high quality (though we did not try using the television and we used our own bath products). The service was very good and friendly and of course - the location is excellent! very central. I celebrated my birthday... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
