Overall I will not recommend this place to my friends because of the rooms which were minuscule without natural light (possibly due to being on the 1st floor) + Location (incredible), cleanliness, breakfast - Rooms (dark, very small, no window view) = beds were pretty comfortable and amenities were a nice touch

The location of this hotel Is just brilliant for central London - I used to stay in this hotel With work a lot 2004-2007 and it's still great - the bar/ restaurant is the best feature - albeit it all looking a little tired from an interiors point of view - the staff are still excellent however and attentive and... Located in the heart of Mayfair this is an amazing friendly hotel. Rooms are relatively small but well equipped and comfortable. What makes this hotel is the staff who are so helpful and friendly, demonstrated by what appeared to be many, many repeat visitors. The hotel lacks parking but carparks can be found in the vicinity. I would definitely return... More

We were there for two nights. Without exception the staff were pleasant and professional. The room was small, clean and well looked after. The bathroom was very small, maximum one person at a time, again clean and well maintained. The In house bath products are dreadful. We would strongly recommend you take your own. The breakfast was one of the worst... More

I stayed here twice. Rooms are nice and modern, corner rooms with much more space, otherwise very small. Staff not exactly friendly. Good location for shopping. 7 minutes n walk to bon st tube station. You can get much better hotel for what you pay here.

The Mandeville is a smart boutique hotel in an excellent area of London. I stayed for six nights and appreciated the friendliness of the staff and their attention to detail. My corner suite was comfortable and sufficiently spacious for one person. A good bathroom with decent tub and high pressure shower. A cosy bed too which allowed for a good... More

We stayed here for our final two nights of a six week holiday. We wanted a really nice place to relax in before our long flight back to Australia. Position was fabulous with many restaurants and Oxford St shopping nearby. But when it came to the hotel it seemed over-staffed with people trying to call you a cab when you... More

I go to London every month and stayed here because there was no available rooms on the usual hotels and also because of the location. The room was so small I could hardly walk around the bed, ordered room service and the selection , the service, the quality was poor and nowhere to place tray. Bed confort was fine but... More

I visit London at least 4-5 times a year and usually stay in different hotels but i'd definitely look to book here again. Perfect hotel for a shopping trip to London. Amazing location, surrounded by good restaurants and near tube & train stations. We upgraded on arrival for a small fee and I can honestly say it was worth it.... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
