Service very good, rooms are quite small but location is the best especially if you want to shop, shop, shop! I had room 607 and the view across London looks like it is right out of Mary Poppins! Turn right out of the hotel and there is lots of restaurants, turn left and there is a little square with even... More

We had a wonderful stay for a week in mid-June. The service was efficient and attentive at all levels. We had a twin room with a good-sized fridge, TV and bathroom. The room wasn't small as expected based on other reviews. It was quiet and the Wifi worked well. The location is very convenient for taking the tube or walking... More

Really very ordinary IMO Small rooms, low ceilings, worn fittings, very dirty windows, and a really uncomfortable bed - terribly soft mattress. Great location? Sure. Friendly staff? Yes mostly. But not in the restaurant where utterly clueless 20-somethings pretending to be waitresses fawn all over male diners and ignore the women (it's a bit like flying JAL really). [Tip: It's... More

We love this hotel and stay here when we visit London. Location is superb and the staff are wonderful. We arrived early around 11 a.m.expecting to check in ,leave our bags and have access to our room later in the day. However, after a very friendly and efficient check in, where the receptionist welcomed us back, we were allocated a... More

I liked the laying of the hotel close to Bond station and shopping area. Walking distance to Selfridges. Hotel is not suitable for people who using wheelchair. Not a hotel for family with small children. Rooms are noisy. During our stay there was construction across our room.

We stayed for 8 nights in June 2015. Staff from checking in and all other area's were absolutely amazing. They were always friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and not hesitate in recommending The Mandeville to friends or family looking to holiday in London.

My family and I stayed in this hotel during December 2014. I feel the hotel deserves good words so I am posting this review. The location was fantastic. It was a short walk to the subway and Oxford Street. The staff was very hospitable especially the concierge who helped me and my father in law get tickets to watch Chelsea... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
