Close to Oxford Circus and Hyde Park but still in a quiet street. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Excellent service. Small breakfast, but according to me, enough since all of it was good. Close to a lot of small restaurants just a few feet away. Perfect hotel if you want to stay in the middle of town to get... More

Great hotel! Location was perfect, 2 minutes to Oxford street and still quiet at night. Close to a viarity of restaurants, great straff and customer service. The room was small but nice and clean and the bed really comfortable! Love that you're in the middle of London but get a relaxing time at the hotel anyways. Also great that it's... More

We were here for 6 nights for the New Zealand Test Match at Lords. We had opted for a luxury double and, while small, it was very comfortable and well appointed, with sufficient hanging and storage space for a weeks stay, something of a rarity in the Mid-range London hotel market. The bed and pillows were soft and we slept... More

I like the Mandeville Hotel mainly because of its position and the comfort of the rooms. The staff are friendly. My only disappointment was the change of the lovely bar and lounge to a very masculine bar and restaurant that has the interior of a steakhouse. I now never book with breakfast as find the dining room cold, visually as... More

I recently stayed five nights in this hotel on business. I stayed in the front part of the hotel facing the street in a wonderful room- spacious, beautifully decorated, with a really nice bathroom - separate bath and "shower á l'Italienne" as the French called it (i.e. walk-in, not raised). The decor was very chic - even the wallpaper in... More

Fantastic position for shopping and eating. Thank you for the upgrade made my weekend, pleasant and friendly staff will go again when I want some retail therapy and theatre time. So easy to get around as only a few minutes from Bond Street tube.

we went for an afternoon tea with free flowing Prosecco, we shared a vintage version and Gentleman's version. The food was excellent, that staff were really helpful and made you feel very relaxed. I will be returning with the family some day soon and would recommend to anyone and everyone!!

Although it was a very expensive one night stay, it was definitely worth the money! Fantastic location!! Less than 5 mins walk to Oxford street and selfridges, wonderful cafe's and restaurants along the way. St Christopher's place ( a little square with lots of nice places to eat and drink) also on the way. Went for my mums birthday and... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
