We stayed here for our final two nights of a six week holiday. We wanted a really nice place to relax in before our long flight back to Australia. Position was fabulous with many restaurants and Oxford St shopping nearby. But when it came to the hotel it seemed over-staffed with people trying to call you a cab when you... More

I go to London every month and stayed here because there was no available rooms on the usual hotels and also because of the location. The room was so small I could hardly walk around the bed, ordered room service and the selection , the service, the quality was poor and nowhere to place tray. Bed confort was fine but... More

I visit London at least 4-5 times a year and usually stay in different hotels but i'd definitely look to book here again. Perfect hotel for a shopping trip to London. Amazing location, surrounded by good restaurants and near tube & train stations. We upgraded on arrival for a small fee and I can honestly say it was worth it.... More

We had a great experience in several rooms at the Mandeville (especially 413). The location is excellent, with lots of charm and easy transit access. A little on the pricey side, but quite nice overall.

Very nice hotel and very central, great location. No big cups in the room for a coffee, only espresso cups and no tea making facilities as was just a nespresso machine. Other than that was lovely. Very clean and tidy

We choose the Mandeville hotel purely on location and lucked out with it being so nice and easy to get to. There are an abundance of good restaurants and cafes in the area and shopping really is on your doorstep!

It was our first time at The Mandeville and we weren't disappointed. Perfect location to explore London on foot (we love basing ourselves in Marylebone) and really comfortable room. Had a great nights sleep! As with most hotels in London room sizes aren't on the generous size but for a one or two night stay this hotel and its location... More

The location of the hotel is perfect: right behind Oxford Street and Selfridges, close to shops and restaurants, but still in a quiet street, so that there are no noises to disturb one's rest. Rooms are a bit small, but the wi-fi works very well

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
