Its been awhile since I've come back to stay here and I'm glad that I did come back. From my booking request, check-in, stay and check-out I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. I would be greeted by everyone when I passed through the lobby..was even escorted to breakfast! They went beyond the normal I get at other hotels.... More

I really like this hotel. Good location. Good rooms. We didn't experience any noise. Remodelled room. Friendly staff. Great for restaurants in the area and Selfridges/Oxford Street. 3 Stars given because they made me feel awkward the moment I checked in (see below). I hate the "we will add a modest tip on to your final bill for housekeeping and... More

I am sorry you were displeased with the service charge. We do not intend to make anybody feel uncomfortable about it. Everything was great. Rooms were nice and clean, small though, but very nice. Staff friendly. Location Excellent. So, yeah. Not much to talk about, everything exactly the way I wanted it. Highly recommended.

Quaint hotel in a great location. The room was nothing special and was tiny. The restaurant downstairs is worth visiting as the food is delicious and they have an interesting (and expensive) cocktail list.

This 5 floor hotel (part of SUMMIT HOTELS)is tucked away just off Wigmore St, close to Oxford Street and the famous Wallace Collection on Manchester Sq. W1. The Doormen, Concierge, breakfast and Reception staff are very attentive and happy to please. The Reception and Bar area are both comfy and well decorated. My single room (no 119) was like a... In short, you won't get a better located hotel in London, it is literally right round the corner from Oxford Street and within walking distance from some of the nicest eateries you can find in the city. Our room was tiny, tiny but we paid 139 for it which is good value. Very noisy though, as the windows are single... More

We had a 3 night break in the Mandeville and were thoroughly pleased with the whole experience. Check in was efficient, friendly and welcoming. We had a twin room on the 3rd floor - room 313. Having read some reviews I was expecting something the size of a small matchbox, however the room size was not at all an issue,... More

I got a great deal via booking.com and, at such rate, it was as good as it gets. The hotel, I'd say, is perfect for a week end trip, especially if you want to shop around Oxford or regents street. Small room and anonymous service but served well the purpose. I would go back.

The Mandeville hotel in central London is an excellent located hotel. Just behind selfridges and a few mins away from bond St station. We stayed here for the first time and will definitely return. We were there for our anniversary and found flowers and a personal message from the hotel manager in our room waiting for us. We were even... More

We decided to go to the post Christmas the sales in Oxford Street and therefore booked an overnight stay at the Mandeville which is about 200 meters from stores like Selfridges and Debenhams. This is not a large hotel and ,as a consequence, it has a rather personal feel from the time that you arrive. The Doorman is helpful, the... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
