Stayed at the Russell for nighte in January, the room was ok had everything I needed. Breakfast was a bit chaotic as we had to wait to be seated. The staff are very friendly. A very well located hotel for sight seeing.

Stayed here for 1 night as my husband and I were attending a Black Tie Dinner and this was reccomended to us as it was close to the venue. I swear the room was a converted maids cupboard! So small and cramped one of us had to sit down for the other to move around when we were getting ready.... More

Love this place. I stayed at Hotel Russell on 3 separate nights over the Christmas and New Year period, December 2014. Each time I stayed, the staff were lovely. So helpful and attentive. The building itself is gorgeous and the location was perfect for my needs, as I was seeing West End shows and catching the end-of-year sales. On Christmas... More

I have always appreciated the location of the hotel, I have never actually stayed other than for business reasons. The personnel is friendly and helpful, the quality of the room does vary to a certain extent but it is overall quite acceptable, in my experience. It is a very central and charming area of London so I believe you get... More

Hotel Russel - very characteristic architecture, comfortable rooms, fantastically training, smiling and very efficient staff in reception and restauration, very good and calm localisation (metro, bus, centre of town). Scruffy, dirty windows (outside) and elevation. Noisy air conditioning!!!

We informed the reception, they said someone will go And fix it... When we get back, someone came along And thought us how to use tabs.... Well, the water was cold still! Nothing happened! Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
