Location does matter, and this hotel has a great one. Just a couple of minutes to Baker Sreet underground and I was able to walk to Hyde Park, Harrod's, Regent Park, and several museums. Two friendly pubs with fine food close by as well as an excellent Indian rest.

I had a great stay at Sherlock Holmes, thanks to its central location and welcoming staff. The room was nice and although the hotel itself can look a bit tired in parts and is not the usual Park Plaza hotel, the staff make up for it being so pleasant and welcoming. I would stay again.
