5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This was our first visit to London. We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in a suite. The room, considering it was in London, was a decent size. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we have ever had (and we travel quite a bit). Everything was clean and included little perks like chocolates on our pillow, slippers,... More

Stayed here for a weekend with family. Location is great for tourist access and that shows up in the price. Hotel common areas were in fine condition although extremely busy. So if you were trying to wait in the lobby you were almost always standing as it felt like a train station but only with seating for a handful of... More

Walking distance to major tourist attractions in London: Backingham palace, Big Ben, British museum, Trafargar square, National Gallery, Mayfair, China Town, Soho, Ritz, Ivy...I was free upgrade to a top floor room, it was spacious, and I was very impressed. The Club lounge is excellent, offers breakfast, dinner, wine, Cheese, and you can find cookies/fruits/soft drinks there 24 hours. The... More

My mum and I stayed here for three nights from the 14th August. Our stay was perfect. We managed to book accommodation at a discounted rate, otherwise, this accommodation may have been a bit too expensive for our budget. Twin beds - perfect white starched sheets and a choice of two different pillows. The room was very clean, large enough... More

My husband and i stayed here for a weekend and loved it. It is perfectly situated to get to all attractions easily. The room was spacious and the night turndown service was a lovely touch. The food here is excellent and not overly priced which was a surprise. We would definately stay here again, what a wonderful treat it is.

While the location of this hotel was great, it lacked many aspects that could have made it a tolerable stay. -The hotel front desk has a consistently long wait even at odd hours. -Hotel restaurant is not worth visiting even factoring the connivence of it being on the same floor as our room. -While hotel staff was generally kind (with... This is a big hotel in a great area. It's not terrible, but we had all kinds of problems when we checked in which is factoring into my rating. If you're looking for something right in Piccadilly, this could be a good option. But, I worry that the staff wasn't very helpful or friendly. We checked in at 8pm and... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. That's where the positive review ends... Room was a disappointment; musty odor, tub drain broken and on the floor, older bathroom with dirty/mildew covered and broken grout, broken toilet paper roll, no view, no upgrade despite SPG status. Lack of outlets in room and tiny TV make the room feel very old as well.... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
