We arrived late afternoon and check in was quick, easy and staff were helpful and friendly. Being SPG members, we were immediately offered a late check-out which was very welcome. The room was comfortable with everything one could possibly need. The location was simply amazing: we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to see and... More

The location is second to none just steps away from Piccadilly Circus. Walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Whitehall, Piccadilly theatres, etc. The room was lovely and everything was of the quality you would expect from a hotel such as this. Though less expensive than other hotels in the surrounding areas this is still not for the budget traveler. I was... More

It's unfortunate that there seem to have been a few bad experiences here. We had a great time in the hotel. Lovely room, extremely comfy bed and great room service. The breakfast was more than excellent, so much choice and great staff. The hotel even looked after our bags after we had checked out whilst we went site seeing. They... More

I arrived early at 9am and was told that my room will be ready at 3pm, as per hotel standard. When i arrived at 4, room was still occupied by a guest and will only be ready approx at 6. Receptionists was so unfriendly in appologizing.

I didn't even get a chance to visit due to a family emergency, but the hotel insisted on charging me the full stay rate even though I cancelled over a week in advance. Definitely avoid if you think your plans might change.

As a SPG member, I will recommend this hotel to SPG member. Although the room in Le Meridien isn't big, the view and location is the best. You can walk to Fortnum & Mason(Wonderful tea store), Leicester Square, Regent Street etc. On April 1, the plane I took was delayed to London Heathrow. There is a little bit late when... More

Hotel is top notch in service and style. A great location, superb consierge service and beautiful rooms. Hotel and lobby bars pour a stiff drink and hotel restaurant selections are varied, tasty and healthy. Recommend 100%

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. You looking for five star experience with friendly staff this is the place to head too. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the staff are so very friendly and smiles all round. I chated to one of the staff members for about 15min talking about art in... More

Came to London for our five year anniversary, and stayed 4 nights at Le Meridien Piccadilly. Upon arrival, we mentioned to Marta (who checked us in) that we were celebrating our 5-year anniversary. She immediately upgraded us to a Deluxe room. When we got to the room later that day after sightseeing, we got a surprise: a bottle of Champaign... More

This hotel is a conundrum. It's huge and opulent on the outside yet rather ordinary and inelegant inside. I had a dinner meeting at the Wolseley just up the street so it made sense to book Le Meridien. As ever, the Wolseley was wonderful... I just wish I could say the same for the hotel. Lets start with the good... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
