Hotel is located in a very busy part of the city and took over an hour to get here from Heathrow and took my wife an hour from London city. Staff is helpful. I booked a room with twin beds. I was traveling with my daughter who is 16 and my wife and daughter were linking up with us here... More

Le Meridien Piccadilly is categorized as 5 star on travel booking sites. But aside from its location and the price, there is nothing 5 stars about it. The hotel is not cheap, at minimum $400 a night and the rooms are tired and dark. I understand this is London so I don't expect too much from their hotels. And I... More

We chose the hotel because of its excellent location but we were disappointed with the standard of service and upkeep of the property. First off, the bellmen were far from being helpful. No one offered to give us a hand with our luggages when we arrived and when we left - and that is when we have two toddlers in... More

We stayed here for 5 nights on our recent family vacation to London. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in Picadilly Circus and accessible to most of the London attractions. You can walk to a lot of places from here. Unfortunately, the positives end here. Our stay had its share of issues, which I will discuss below. The... More

Le Méridien Piccadilly has partnered with independent London distillers, Sipsmith, to transform its outdoor terrace into the Sipsmith Sipping Garden. We visited for cocktails on the terrace which overlooks Piccadilly - an excellent variety of cocktails was on offer. Menus in the Grill looked interesting and not too expensive, so we may make a trip back for lunch.

Upgraded to spacious club room on 5th floor (SPG status). Comfortable bed, high quality linens. Fast wifi with wired connection available. Good water pressure in shower. Club lounge offers a good snack prior to starting the business day. My room faced Piccadilly but was quiet and peaceful. Great location for business in W1.

I am an SPG Platinum member and selected the Le Meridien London because of the location of the hotel and because I read they had a club room which I could have access to during my stay. Upon arrival near the hotel at the Piccadilly Circus tube stop there is no doubt you are in the middle of it all... More

My wife and 2 kids (2 and 5 yrs old) booked at the Meridien and my wife used her SPG to upgrade to the Jr. Suite. This was perfect because the kids had their own area to sleep and watch TV. The room was always very clean. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and patient with us... More

I loved my stay at Le Meridien. Huge room, massive bed (and it was only me in it), good-size of bathroom (you could swing something larger than a cat in this one) decent room service breakfast. It's as well-appointed as you'd expect from any hotel in this chain, and is a stone's throw from shopping, galleries and the theatre district,... More

We stayed here for one night. The welcome was not as I would have imagined for a 5 star, I did expect to fussed over from the very first step in the door but it was a more leave ya to it kind a thing. The lobby was nice, reception was professional, when I said the stay was for our... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
