Stayed here as part of a show and stay deal with my wife.Arrived in London around 8 am and found the hotel easy.Went to reception and were told we could check in straight away as nobody had used the room which was so nice of the staff. The rooms were lovely and very clean, only let down slightly by the poor view... The location of Le Meridien Piccadilly is hard to beat - it's a stone's throw from Piccadilly Circus so is ideal for those looking for a central hotel close to the main shopping areas of Oxford Street etc and the West End. The hotel itself however was disappointing. The lobby area was nice enough but our room (343) was small... More

We used Le Meridian hotel in conjunction with a theatre visit, we were very very pleased with most aspects of this hotel, I was quite surprised to read some of the previous comments, and our own experience differed from them. Firstly the staff were extremely polite and helpful, from checking in, just a few minutes, restaurant staff very good, you... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here as a last minute hotel to attend a concert. We got a good deal on the price but we are thoroughly disappointed at the lack of quality at this hotel. The room was small and outdated with extremely creaky floors, bed was tiny (however very comfortable), wire hanging lose under the desk, and you... More

This hotel is very conveniently located in London, near the tube station, buses and good restaurants. The cheaper rooms are a bit outdated and the amenities are also low there...however, the club rooms are very nice and give access to the lounge so definitely worth the extra money. The access to the swimming pool is also great, especially after a... More

You can get no better hotel location in London than Piccadilly and this hotel is right in the thick of it. Within a minute of leaving your room, you can be at Piccadilly Circus and all it offers. The Regent St Shops, Soho, Oxford St, Trafalgar Square, the underground and the list goes on. Cafes and pubs and restaurants. But... More

I stayed here for 2 weeks on holiday and came away with some good and bad. The bad: it took about 10 minutes for the hot water in the shower to heat up. Didn't matter what time of day, but could have something to with the location of the room. The hotel promotes green living, but this is a daily... More

Cant fault the location and the room was comfortable and clean...ideal for a shopping trip to the capitol. Staff professional and facilities looked nice. You are surrounded by an abudnance of shops, restaurants and nightlife. Would recommend and would return again if the price was right...

Stayed one night for a short weekend in London. The hotel is perfect for all of the of London's West End attractions. Fall out of the hotel and you are in Picadilly Circus. All of the West End shows are within walking distance, there are more restaurants and bars than you can ever count or use and the up market... More

As with many central London hotels, you're going to pay A LOT and get less in terms of facilities. This Le Meridien has great staff and service. On paper it appears fantastic, however, the building is old and the hotel's expansion means neighboring buildings have been cobbled together. Rooms are strange shapes and less practical, definitely not modern. I wouldn't... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
