If you are touring this is a very convenient hotel to stay it. 1) Location - cab fare in London is insane ( the cab to this airport is around 80 pounds!). However, if you land in Heathrow you can catch the Picaddilly line for I think 5 pounds. It takes awhile (45-50 min) but it is a straight shot... More

This is a perfectly good hotel in a great location, right by Piccadilly Circus, and so convenient for the West End entertainment. I was a little disappointed with the room as it seemed tired and a bit dated. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a good stay.

We just returned from a week in London with our 2 teenage boys. I was a bit nervous about the hotel because there were a lot of mixed reviews on Tripadvisor. I have to say that the hotel was absolutely perfect for us, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. We had two connecting rooms on the 5th floor. Our... More

Let me start by saying this is the best hotel to stay when you travel to London - the location is UNBEATABLE. Travellers often complain about their stay; but should know better that nothing in life comes ready or easy. Knowing that I have specific requests for my stay, I reached out to the hotel and was personally taken care... More

I booked a groupon deal for my partners 50th for an afternoon buffet, it wasn't cheap. I then confirmed the date with the hotel and had it confirmed in writing. I then booked on refundable accommodation in London the night before and after. They then emailed me to say they now had a private booking that day so I can't... More

Perfect location, and great team at the hotel. I had incredible service, AND I booked at another SPG location that closed for a remodel and scooted me over here. This group was lovely! I had a really nice room on the 8th floor, with club access, and had a nearly perfect experience. Location can't be beat, I walked nearly the... More

I went for a drink & meal with my friends at the Terrace Bar & Grill last night. The Bar staff was very attentive and the cocktails great and although not busy, the ambience was very nice. Our waitress was lovely; I just wished this would have translated to the food. Being a vegetarian, I am probably more fussy than... More

We booked on-line, as location was important, name+Starwood member we thought 'can't go wrong'. Wrong. I was on crutches, filled out a handicap form, no place for signature. Lobby beautiful, we were looking forward to our 1-night stay. Room on 9th floor, 903 was not renovated. this room had paint peeling away from the air conditioners, heating hadn't been turned... The hotel is in a great business location. It is also within walking distance to Regent Street, Leicester Square, China Town etc which is very convenient. If you need to be near Oxford Street, Marble Arch etc., it is best you choose another hotel. The hotel itself looks renovated but if you look closer you can tell it is old... More

I spent 2 nights in business. This is what you can expect; -Top location in the heart of the magnificent city of London. Close to everything and connected with the tube everywhere else you need to go. -The Hotel carries heritage and show charming classics architect. -I stayed in a renovated Club room with modern feeling and some touch from... Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
