I give 3 stars just because of the location. It is right in the centre of everything in London. The hotel is tired although it has been renovated in recent years. Hotel lobby looks like a 3star hotel. The bed was too soft for my liking. I am aware that we are in central London, I have lowered my expectation... More

Stayed for a three night long weekend in a Queen Guest Room plus. The hotel is 5 star, and while the facilities probably warrant the rating, there is no real “Wow” factor to it. The location is fantastic for Covent Garden and Theatreland, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. The room was fairly small (not unusual for Central... More

breakfast was great.....everything else undercooked - three staff members tried to get in the room in 24 hrs, sorry did I say room, cupboard. Charging for wifi is punchy and who are all those stilettoed chicks loitering in the foyer....oh!

Stayed here for a 5th wedding anniversary treat. Very close to theatre district and the shopping of Covent Garden. Walking very easy but no shortage of taxis right outside. This is an historic hotel but quite simply taken over and made into a Hilton! Corridors require some attention as seem a bit tired but can not fault the room, reception,... More

Was not sure what to expect but I look back in amazement, led to a private bar behind the scenes with other couples, we met Matt, very keen, knowledgeable and generally good company. Made a couple of cocktails each that tasted pretty good. Then made our way to dinner, the steak was amazing. Great evening to be had, highly recommended... More

The Waldorf Hilton is perfectly located for those interested in theater or in need of being in close proximity to the London School of Economics. The rooms are on the small side, but the service is attentive. The rates are on the high side, but that tends to be true of quality hotels in central London. Breakfast is especially expensive... Firstly my review is based only on an overnight stay basis and with an online offer as well to consider. My partner & I needed a great location hotel as I shoot London Fashion week & my Partner reports as well so needed to be near Somerset House and two blocks away from our other events to cover so the... I wish I could remember her name (she checked us in the morning of Friday Feb 20 at 10:00 am, brown hair, pony tail and very bright smile). The flight over the Atlantic was a disaster, broken entertainment system, ran out of food and the airline lost our luggage. Not just re-routed and we'll have it later in the day,... More

I chose hotel based on its good location for access to the financial center while still being close enough to the evening services around Covent Garden. Price/value was fine given London's pricey hotels. Rooms are a little tired but they are clean and fairly spacious (at least the Exec room). Bathroom was very large. A long term renovation is underway,... More

Neighborhood Profile
Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
