Well, let's see; Thistle Piccadilly, Royal Angus, every hotel Piccadilly - In the thirty or so years we have been staying there it has undergone many evolutions and convolutions. It has gone from a bit faded and frankly somewhat crummy to a modern venue without becoming eccentric or extreme. The Lobby is somewhat unfortunate. There are some misplaced theatre spotlights... Stayed here on Saturday for 2 nights and was not disappointed. Friendly staff, modern clean rooms with all the facilities that you could ask for. Brilliant location. .so central....visited the theatre literally next door along with a visit to the comedy club ...again 'next door' and just two minutes from Chinatown....The only issue we had was that we booked under... We were staying in London overnight for a special birthday. As we were going to see "The Book of Mormon" we wanted somewhere close, so we would not waste time and money on taxis to and fro. The Thistle was an excellent choice, being just around the corner from the theatre and a short walk from Charing Cross. We dropped... More

Stayed here Saturday night. The location is amazing, just next to Leicester Square, the room was very comfortable and the desk staff friendly. And amazing value for the location. Overall we were very impressed and will certainly be back.

This is discovery! Everytime we come to London location is always an issue, no more. Great welcome, upgraded to executive room free, spacious, comfortable and above all very quiet. Staff ever so helpful. Unfortunately my wife fell ill and we had to go home. I have no doubt we shall return

Stayed for just 1 night but this hotel is excellent value & the location is superb. Had a little trouble with check in as they did not have our booking but we were offered a complimentary drink of our choice in the stylish bar/restaurant while it was sorted out. Massive comfy bed, massive tv, loads of pillows, very modern clean... More

My husband and I stayed here Saturday night as we were going to see the musical Sunny Afternoon. From the outset, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite. We had a drink in the bar and Flora (although that was not her name, it was not her name badge!) went out of her way to be helpful. The room... More

My husband and I stayed for one night. The staff in all departments were kind, friendly and went out of their way to help you. The bedroom was well thought through in design with a comfortable large bed, and the nespresso and complimentary soft drinks were lovely treats. It was also quiet, even though in a central location where Leicester... More

Sited between Piccadilly Circus & Leicester Square Stations and steps from Chinatown which was the main reason we chose this hotel. The room we stayed from 17 to 21 Feb was fantastic as it was big with a very large bed with 6 pillows (wow!), large LED TV and with 2 large windows albeit facing the rear of the hotel.... More

We stayed here on the first night is had officially opened as Every rather than Thistle, and we enjoyed it. Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
