We stayed at this hotel last week. The staff could not have been ruder to us. First I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my cab to arrive and the two ladies at the front desk were complaining about every request they got after the customer left and generally making rude comments to each other about the guests. The... More

The staff at this hotel are always friendly and helpful, which makes got a great stay. But the location is exceptional, close to so many iconic locations. Plus there are two tube stations at either end of the street that will get you where ever you want to go. There are also more restaurants around the hotel than you could... More

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a room on the 6th floor, very quiet, clean and tidy and we never had to wait for the lift. Small kitchenettes allow you to make yourself breakfast, or main meal, along with tea/coffee. But why would you when you are within minutes of amazing resteraunts, coffee bars and pubs. Minutes away... More

We recently stayed here and you couldn't get any more central. The place was wonderful and not too cramps considering how small places in London can be. They are self contained apartments so don't expect room service, but towels and such can be changed on request. Very close by is a Tesco for basic supplies and few places to eat.... More

We stayed for a week and the location was perfect! It's close to many London sites and tube station(embankment) and Charing Cross train station is 5 minutes away. We skipped the daily breakfast cost and bought breakfast items from the supermarket 5 minutes away. We also ate breakfast across the street at the cafe. Good wifi too! A great place... More

Rooms were small (expected in London) but floors/carpets were dirty. Strange toilet closet with a sink basin perched on top of toilet and when flushed the tap came on (no separate bidet). Do not expect daily room service. Ionel at reception was particularly helpful. Best part of this hotel is its great location close to London Eye and minutes to... More

Great location. Room was average with a small kitchenette. Probably could use a face-lift.Walking distance to alot of the major sites and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone visiting London. Although, didn't see a cleaning crew while we were there for two nights for fresh towels which wasn't a huge deal..

We had a Studio on the 3rd floor, was very roomy neat and clean, perfect location. The only problem was that the gym next door would start its loud music about 5.45 in the morning and continue for a couple of hours, and then there were loud bangs where I would say weights were being dropped. This happened morning and... More

My husband, 10 year old son and I stayed at the Citadines Trafalgar Square for 4 nights in early June. The rooms were adequate although a bit poky but the location more than made up for this. We walked everywhere and Embankment was just a short walk away.

Great location you are 5mins walk to London eye, Trafalgar Square , theatres, Buckingham palace and much more. Here are the pros and cons; Pros: location, modern, free coffee anytime, pleasant staff. Cons: poor lighting, wifi difficult at times, mobile reception only in hotel lobby, very few washing machines/dryers and dryer takes two cycles to dry. If you want an... More

Dear Penelope F Thank you for the 5 star review! I have passed your super comments onto the team who appreciate your acknowledgment. My apologies about the water issue, but its good to read the team rectified the problem quickly and it didn't ruin your stay. Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
