We stayed here on friday, this was a christmas gift from our children. The room was lovely and very clean, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was lovely and hot and there was plenty. We would stay here again. Thank you to Red Letter days, this was booked through them, it was great. More

The Raglan is ok, but lacks being special. The welcome was warm & friendly but once past the facade of the spacious and nicely designed reception, it all seemed a bit tired. A narrow staircase led to a cold bedroom with a view over airconditioning ducts. The room had a fabulous big bed (well two singles pushed together), the bathroom... More

My partner and I had stayed at the Roseview last year and thought we'd give The Raglan a try this time. From the outside the Raglan looks a bit more up-market than the Roseview further down the road and yet behind the ostentacious facade the 2 hotels are very similar. THE COST We booked the Raglan through Hotels.com and got... More

Thanks for posting your review and for your very constructive comments and observations. The Raglan was extensively refurbished a few years ago and as the property is several old houses interconnected the bedrooms vary in shape and size and the rates to some extent reflect this. This adds to the character and quirkiness of the property....so different to modern purpose... More

This is a typical London hotel in as much as your not going to get absolute luxury like in foreign climes but the Raglan is not a bad stay. The rooms are small but well appointed and the TV, internet access and bed were all of an acceptable standard. There is a lot of stairs which is a pain but... More

The Welcome is good. However having no lift and a heavy bag, it is not ideal. The stairs are creaky and the corridors need a repaint. I had an executive room, which was clean and a good size. The bed's mattress was cheap and thin. The noise from other rooms is quite a put off. One morning I was awoken,... More

I arrived late at the Raglan, but the staff were welcoming and helpful. My room was on the 3rd floor, and there was no lift. At least reception warned me and apologised in advance. Luckily I didn't have a heavy bag, but I could imagine this could have stressed some people out. The climb was well worth it though as... More

My Husband booked a two night stay with the Raglan through LateRooms (£85/night, 7th and 8th October) because he was exhibiting at Ally Pally 8th and 9th Oct. At the last minute (Thursday 6th Oct) the stand at the exhibition was cancelled; he immediately used the Laterooms site to cancell the booking. The cancellation was made approx 1.5hours after the... We stayed at The Raglan for one night after a wedding. First impressions were that I could not believe they charge £129 for such a small room. The room was also freezing cold although both radiators were on! The bed was uncomfortable and the duvet was so thin it was basically a sheet which didn't help the freezing conditions! The... More

Having read the comments, the hotel has dealt directly with the guest, offered our apologies and investigated the problem. A failure on the boiler thermostat was the problem which was rectified on 17th October 2011. The guest is now aware of this and our resolution with them. More

We were exhibiting at Ally Pally and this was convenient for leaving the car parked on the forecourt (limited spaces, you have to grab your chance at about 9.00am when the last lot of guests leave after breakfast) and stroll down Dukes Avenue to the bottom of the hill where there's a pedestrian entrance to the Palace grounds. The Standard... More
