I stay here with work most weeks and it's great for me. I usually end up having dinner with friends and then crashing. It's walking distance to most of central London so 5 mins from KX and 15m to Covent Garden Rooms can be noisy though so ask for one at the back of the building. Bathrooms are TINY -... More

Absolute gem, it was like having our own flat for the time we spent in London. Fantastic layout ,great to have some outside private space...just perfect ! Best shower I've ever had when staying at similar places.

We stayed here as it was cheaper than many of the hotels and we wanted a safe place to sleep in central London. We flew into luton and the train gets into St pancreas from the airport. Delighted with this find! Lovely, friendly staff. Great room on the top floor- executive room. It was very quiet and warm with a... More

This is the second time we have stayed at Cartwright gardens and although the building work currently taking place in the area is a pain the apartments and location are fantastic value for money. I would recommend the apartments to anyone but don't expect a lie in except on Sunday's. Jason and Tracey Birmingham, England.

Went on a short business trip where i needed a cheap and good place to stay. This is a good value for money if you are Looking for this. Even though it look a bit tired. The quality of the studio is above average and you get the comfort you seek, close to public transport. Well managed and just a... More

We stayed at Studios2let for 3 nights and found the room to be more than adequate for our needs. Everything was very clean and the facilities were everything you could wish for in a self contained apartment. I notice that other reviews mention how small the rooms are but I didn't expect a mansion for a studio price so was... More

This place is where I choose to stay whenever I'm staying in central London, whether for business or pleasure. Highly recommended! Where else in central London can you find better accommodation for the price? For around£100 per night, depending on the day and available deals, you can have a modern, clean, stylish studio apartment 5 minutes walk from Euston, Kings... More

I only stayed one night but I was very pleasantly surprised how nice the flats were. The location is great, 5mins walk to Euston and kings cross. They also allow you to leave your luggage there if you're too early to check in. The rooms are a bit small but they are well equipped, clean and comfortable. We have a... More

Small rooms, which one would except in C.London but these really small even for a Superior Room type. No central heating the room where really cold. They have a separate A/c n heating system and they switch on the heating until asked for! TV is small n don't work very well. Staff very very rude n patronising. Spoke to me... More

Second time staying at Cartwright Gardens. We were here over Christmas both times - kitchenette was a fun challenge for cooking breakfast on Christmas day - small hot plates and oven - barely fit our Harrods pie! But it was a success. Double fridges are awesome for storing plenty of desserts (and alcohol!). Bathroom was very very small, but heated... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
