The location of the hotel is fantastic, right next to two major train stations. We arrived by train from Paris and it was an easy walk from the station. Unfortunately, getting into the hotel was not as easy. Our room was on the 6th (top) floor, and there was no lift and no help from the staff. With two large... More

This was our second stay at Cartwright Gardens and both visits were great! We really like that the studio's are situated between Euston Tube Station and Russell Square tube station. Russell Square is a straight shot from the hotel and very easy to get to. I have seen reviews about them being too small, but I really don't agree. It's plenty... More

The room is not big but it is well-equipped. The kitchen is small but it is very convenient to cook easy dish. It is near the Euston station. There are some bars and cafes nearby. Our room is facing the garden. The view is nice. There is free wifi provided.

I booked a studio here for a business trip to London. At check-in, my business credit card would not work in their machine, though it worked perfectly well in the local ATM and elsewhere. The young man on reception was very rude and unhelpful. I called my business director at work, who offered to (a) pay over the phone with... More

Although tiny but everything you needed can be found in this small service apartment! They have fully utilise every inch of the space so there is no problem to find enough storage for your short stay! Only uncomfortable part is - washroom is very very small, you can hardly put your own shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. If... More

We stayed at studio2let, for the convenience of having the ability to make breakfast. The studio was extremely small for 2 people. I would not recommend 2 people staying here. It is extremely small. The bathroom sink was extremely small. When we arrived we discovered that the two windows in our room did not have locks on them. They said... More

When we book a city break, all we are looking for is a central location and somewhere clean as we don't spend much time at the hotel and this is generally what we got. The location was perfect for us as we wanted somewhere that was easy to get around. Oh, and Wifi in the rooms was fast and reliable.... More

We were not interested in staying at a luxury hotel since we'd be out and about a lot. This place was perfect for us. We had a double room with a small balcony overlooking the park (really awful view of dumpsters though) and the road. The small kitchenette was all we needed. Nice sized fridge and same sized freezer. The... More

I stayed here in a larger studio and had a pleasant week. Knowing that the bathrooms are small and some if the studios are a walk up stairs means that there are no surprises . I had no major problems and enjoyed my stay in London and at the studio a lot.

Positive: Quiet area but still close to attractions, restaurants and underground, newly renovated and nice hotel, friendly staff Negative: Very tiny bathroom only for slim persons, our room was at ground floor and people could look directly into the room from the street

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
