We were greeted by a friendly and helpful hotel receptionist, who accommodated to our needs - including an early breakfast. We found the accommodation clean and tidy and what we expect for the price we paid. They also allow you to leave your luggage there when you check out so that you can explore the city without all of your... More

Wonderful time at The Carlton Hotel with family. From booking to departure was an exercise in excellence. Reception, accommodation, and general service/care must be experienced to be believed. Exceptional Christmas Decorations.Wholeheartedly recommended. Will definitely visit again.

The location of the hotel is perfect! Close to the metro and with a lot of buses going to the city center. But the rooms are tiny, they're perfect to come inside and sleep but no possibility of moving around or doing yoga inside, there isn't space enough. But the room was very clean.

In a great location for access to King's Cross station, this a very very basic hotel verging on a hostel. The beds and bathrooms are very small and furnished from Tesco. The staff are friendly and helpful however, and the breakfast surprisingly edible. Perhaps slightly overpriced (at £95) for what it is.

It has good location near to Victoria Station. The hotel is clean and neat good for budgeted stay. However the staff is very unfriendly. There is only 1 public toilet in the hotel. Rushing to the airport we asked if the staff could allow us to use an extra toilet to save time. Of course we commit to keep it... More

Room was clean but noisy. We could hear the neighbors walking and when they were on the shower. Service was HORRIBLE, unfriendly staff, no wifi in our room. Breakfast was just not eatable (dry sausages and tasteless scramble eggs) only the toasts were ok, coffee disgusting!! The ladies at dinning room were impolite and at 9.30 sharp started cleaning up... More

Long story short... They've stolen money from my credit card!!! My boyfriend and I were in London just for the day and missed the last train home (around 1:30am). Went into the hotel asking for a room and they said they had just one but would charge £60. Obviously this is a little steep for a 5hr stay so I... More

Good wifi and a good breakfast was provided, The room was very basic, the bed was tiny, My husband did not fit in it and there was no AC in the room. The location is good and there are lots of restaurants near by.

Stayed here with friends - room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was very small but this didn't matter to us. We were on the top floor so had to walk up a lot of stairs which I was not prepared for! Location is brilliant, very close to pimlico station and walking distance to victoria. Would stay again.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
