Located just opposite St Pancras station, 200 year old building. Rooms are clean but small in size. No fan or aircondition in room, so have to keep window open for air. Standard same English breakfast daily which becomes boring if staying for few days. Staff are pleasing and helpful. No telephone in the room.

We stayed here for a theatre trip and it's worth every penny, the staff are very friendly, the room was spotless, the bathroom was a little small but it's not designed to be lived in! The breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and always topped up when stock got low. All in all worth staying here.

Very convenient for London Pimlico tube one stop to Victoria , hotel was clean breakfast continental this meant just toast and cereals and fruit salad but was adequate . If not very fit ask for a lower floor as no lift we were up 5 flights of stairs which after a long day sightseeing was hard work . good pub... More

This hotel is just across the road from King's cross/ St Pancras International station. Travelers can take the underground directly from Heathrow airport to this station ( about 50 minutes) without changing trains and can get around the stations via lifts/ escalators. Rooms and bathrooms are very small but clean. Breakfast is pretty generous with full English breakfast spread. I... More

It is a actually a budget hotel. Price is good, and all the basic needs are offered, such as lift, breakfast, private restroom. It just opposite to the King's Cross station and perfect transportation. That's all.

I chose this Hotel for its location and was not disappointed. It is literally 75 steps from Kings Cross/St. Pancras so you save two taxi rides if that is where you come and go from. IT was very clean and well maintained for an older property, with good quality finishes. Pricey at 95L it has to be considered for its... More

Most worst experience of my lifetime. The hooligan/ goons manage the hotel. I went with my wife for an holiday and my whole trip converted into a fear. They behaved very badly with me and my wife while leaving the hotel, which was not less than an assault. Also when i entered the hotel, the hotel manager/ staff were starring... More

The location is great - 3 minutes from the Pimlico underground station and walking distance to the main attractions. Restaurants, pubs and stores near by. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was basic but included in the price which was a bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, for the price it worked. Be... Location brilliant, value very good got a deal through an online company.... Worst thing ever tho... U walk in and straight away you smell the receptionist and his body odour, vile. If they allow him to smell like this and work here, can't imagine what else isn't clean.

We needed a budget hotel at short notice for three people and counted ourselves lucky to have got three rooms at Carlton. First disappointment was the size of my room (211) and bed. Both extremely tiny for £70 per night. No reasonable space to watch the TV in the room. The heater was on, but could barely warm up this... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
