Positive points 1. Location - close to Kings Cross tube station 2. Staff relatively friendly 3 sort of clean Negative points 1 Room facing Birkenhead Road very very noisy. No air conditioning nor fan, so forced to put up with the heat or open the window to get some relief only to be kept awake by the sirens, screaming ladies... More

Does what it needs to. Provides nice, safe accommodation near to Euston and King's Cross. Our room was quite cramped, but the bathroom worked and was clean - we only need the room to sleep in. Breakfast was a buffet English, and it was good! Pretty much everything as standard, as you would expect, but the scrambled eggs were exceptional!... More

There are many things wrong with this hotel. 1) They do not know how to put a phone call through to a room. 2) A continental breakfast is classified as toast and old cereal. 3) There is literally no space inside of the cramped rooms. 4) The bathroom flooded every time somebody showered. After a long day of visiting places,... More

The location of the hotel was one of it's best assets. For myself, the perfect location (near 2 major train hubs I needed) was the driving force behind me staying here. The room though small and sparse was CLEAN which is way more important to me. I would most likely stay there again if I need to be near this... More

200 yr old building and the interior was not much younger. Very dated, bathroom needed a scrub as tiles and grout had built up grim. WiFi worked okay but dropped out often. Breakfast was reasonable. We had a front room and was very noisey at night. Best thing about this hotel is the location. Very easy to get , janywhere... More

Easy to find in front of the big Kings Cross Station but we were sent to a different building down the road, 3rd floor, no elevator, no spare key if you are 2 people and need 2 sets of keys. WiFi wasn't great either. Having a hard time to open the window & needed help from front staff. The view... More

Triple room was OK, clean sheets, water supply in shower could use a bit more pressure but was not bad. Overall OK experience, staff was friendly upon arrival and helpful. WIFI did not work with my MacBook, but then I am experiencing some problems in general with WIFI lately, so no idea it was the hotel :-). Can definitely recommend... More

Located just opposite St Pancras station, 200 year old building. Rooms are clean but small in size. No fan or aircondition in room, so have to keep window open for air. Standard same English breakfast daily which becomes boring if staying for few days. Staff are pleasing and helpful. No telephone in the room.

We stayed here for a theatre trip and it's worth every penny, the staff are very friendly, the room was spotless, the bathroom was a little small but it's not designed to be lived in! The breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and always topped up when stock got low. All in all worth staying here.

Very convenient for London Pimlico tube one stop to Victoria , hotel was clean breakfast continental this meant just toast and cereals and fruit salad but was adequate . If not very fit ask for a lower floor as no lift we were up 5 flights of stairs which after a long day sightseeing was hard work . good pub... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
