Most worst experience of my lifetime. The hooligan/ goons manage the hotel. I went with my wife for an holiday and my whole trip converted into a fear. They behaved very badly with me and my wife while leaving the hotel, which was not less than an assault. Also when i entered the hotel, the hotel manager/ staff were starring... More

Please never stay here. THEY GO TO YOUR ROOM IN YOUR ABSENCE. I went with my wife for an holiday and my whole trip converted into a fear. The location is great - 3 minutes from the Pimlico underground station and walking distance to the main attractions. Restaurants, pubs and stores near by. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was basic but included in the price which was a bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, for the price it worked. Be... Location brilliant, value very good got a deal through an online company.... Worst thing ever tho... U walk in and straight away you smell the receptionist and his body odour, vile. If they allow him to smell like this and work here, can't imagine what else isn't clean.

We needed a budget hotel at short notice for three people and counted ourselves lucky to have got three rooms at Carlton. First disappointment was the size of my room (211) and bed. Both extremely tiny for £70 per night. No reasonable space to watch the TV in the room. The heater was on, but could barely warm up this... More

Nice little hotel in a great location, more or less opposite Kings Cross station/St Pancras tube. Everything we needed was close by and we could reach all areas we were visiting via the tube (get a day pass if you are out for the day, we paid 12.00 each). On arrival we were 10 minutes early but this was fine... More

It isn't the best place if you are looking for a warm place to stay in winter. The heater wasn't seems to be working properly, it only feels a little bit of warm even at the max level. The wifi apparently experienced some problem during our stay as well, which is quite annoying. The shower wasn't that satisfying either, took... More

Okay where do I start? The hotels walls are paper thin, the bathrooms are small to the point I couldn't close the door when I was in the bathroom, noisy, terrible breakfast if you can call it that, no soap in the bathroom, beds that are hard & rude unhelpful staff. Avoid like the plague! Dreadful!

Stayed here on the 9/01/15 as I was very cheap and included a cooked breakfast, the room I had was room 11 which was at the front and was on the Main Street, I knew it would be a bit noisy but staying that close to St Pancras/Kings Cross station I expexted this. The room was small but big enough... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
