We needed a cheap room in London for a couple of nights in early December, the important thing for us was to be near Victoria railway station, somewhere cheap but safe and clean. The Vegas Hotel was about eight minutes walk from Victoria, it was cheap for the ideal location and very clean so no complaints there. Check in was... More

It was very cosy hotel, small and clean rooms with bathroom and window. The bed was comfortable. There was a small case for clothes and one safe. Breakfast was very easy, but it was enough. We could have toasts, butter, jam, Nuttela, müsli, milk, coffee, tea, juice. There were also supermarkets and restaurants surrounded. Staff very nice. The best location!

This is a small hotel that is perfect for a short stay at the centre of London. It is located 5 minutes walk from Victoria Coach station and another 5-7 minutes to the Victoria underground. The rooms are small but clean, no closet is available. However, for a short visit in London this is a very good choice. The lack... More

OK, so this hotel has double rooms for sub £80 in a decent location in central London. Let's make no bones about this, it is a very basic hotel, with basic facilities. Most importantly however, it was clean and the room I had was comfortable. The reception staff member was polite, not exactly happy, but professional enough for a welcome.... More

We stayed here for one night. The hotel was clean and staff were helpful. We had a twin room which was very small, the bathroom was a wet room, the toilet was really close to the door and difficult to use. The mattress on one bed was past its best and very uncomfortable. Breakfast was a bit of a trial,... More

Stayed here with a friend for one night. It was cheap, and this was reflected in the hotel. Firstly, the reception was not very friendly or helpful. We were greeted with a few grunts...no mention where or what time for the breakfast the next day, no mention of the wifi password and no "enjoy your stay". The steps to the... More

Receptionist not realy friendly by incoming and leaving. Breakfast was continental and not typecal English! The location and public transport in the neighborhood was excellent. Allthough the rooms are too small we will return when we will visit London again.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
