I stayed at the hotel with a friend of mine three nights. From outside the hotel is the typical Victorian building with the white beautiful columns and the big black numbers and the street is very quiet even if it's 10 minutes walk from Victoria station. Our room was in the basement but it was comfortable and clean. It was... More

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Melita and would recommend for anyone visiting the capital for the first time like ourselves . The staff here are very friendly and helpful , offering information freely as to seeing the sights and entertainment . Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfast we're tasty and plentiful .

We wanted a hotel in central London to stay on the Saturday night of London Open House Weekend, so we could travel up to Town early and enjoy 2 full days. We found another hotel in Victoria at a bargain price, but Agoda made a mess of the booking and (after much to-ing & fro-ing) found us the Melita as... More

This is the second time that I have used the services of this hotel...it is centrally located close to Pimlico underground station and stop for bus no 24 just 1 min away (Big Ben just 10 mins away if using this bus). Service is excellent, staff pleasant and extremely helpful, very good breakfast and clean rooms. I definitely recommend this... More

After reading all the reviews, I understood what I was getting when I stayed here. It is expensive but everything in this area is and you cannot beat the location for the price. This place was a clean hotel with older fixtures. The stairs are narrow and the rooms small. The room we stayed in had a bathtub with hand... More

We stayed here for two nights. It is in a very central location with Victoria station about 10 minutes walk away. There is a bus stop just around the corner from the hotel with buses every few minutes daytime and evening to Victoria station and other parts of London. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is good. We... More

This is a decent house-hotel of sorts, but there were various issues with the electricity connections and whatnot. But I guess you get what you paid for. But WATCH OUT when you ask them to order a taxi for you, we had an experience where they ordered a taxi that had no meter and asked for 20 pounds fare for... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
