Traveled 15 days in Europe in late June / early July 2015 and stayed here the last night . The room was very small and over priced. Breakfast was very inadequate ( choice eggs or corn flakes .. Could not have both either or) . The check in female staff with facial rings was unfriendly . They were no one... More

The guest was staying in different hotels throughout her trip in London and Europe and even though we do remember the guest staying with us, it seems that this review was supposed to be of another hotel she stayed in and not ours: - For breakfast we offer a traditional English breakfast, different types of cereals, eggs any style, juices,... The hotel room was very small - could not move around without hitting something. However it was very clean. One positive feature is that bus 24 stops round the corner and takes you toTravalgar Square and other interesting places and nearest underground station Pimlico is only about 5mins away on foot. Thde stairs leading up to the room are steep... More

I stayed at the hotel with a friend of mine three nights. From outside the hotel is the typical Victorian building with the white beautiful columns and the big black numbers and the street is very quiet even if it's 10 minutes walk from Victoria station. Our room was in the basement but it was comfortable and clean. It was... More

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Melita and would recommend for anyone visiting the capital for the first time like ourselves . The staff here are very friendly and helpful , offering information freely as to seeing the sights and entertainment . Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfast we're tasty and plentiful .

We wanted a hotel in central London to stay on the Saturday night of London Open House Weekend, so we could travel up to Town early and enjoy 2 full days. We found another hotel in Victoria at a bargain price, but Agoda made a mess of the booking and (after much to-ing & fro-ing) found us the Melita as... More

This is the second time that I have used the services of this hotel...it is centrally located close to Pimlico underground station and stop for bus no 24 just 1 min away (Big Ben just 10 mins away if using this bus). Service is excellent, staff pleasant and extremely helpful, very good breakfast and clean rooms. I definitely recommend this... More

After reading all the reviews, I understood what I was getting when I stayed here. It is expensive but everything in this area is and you cannot beat the location for the price. This place was a clean hotel with older fixtures. The stairs are narrow and the rooms small. The room we stayed in had a bathtub with hand... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
