We were staying in London for two nights, sightseeing and visiting the theatre so didn't need anything luxurious, just needed a bed for two nights. This hotel is perfect for that. It's low cost, fairly central (10 mins walk to Victoria station and not far from Buckingham Palace), and most importantly CLEAN. The breakfast room is a bit small and... More

Breakfast basic but good.Cereal, toast ,croissants, yoghurt, juice, coffee. All you need to start the day. Rooms are small but this is london and most hotels like this are small. But the room was clean and tidy with room service, beds made and room cleaned daily. We... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. When you go under the £100 a night mark in London, you can end up in some real scruffy places! But not this one! It was nice and clean, my room was fairly large, the staff was friendly and it was very central. I did not try the breakfast. See other reviews I... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We had a twin room and a single room. The single room was quite small but well equipped. The twin room was very spacious. We booked this hotel as we were on a budget and this seemed like the best hotel for what we could afford and to be honest I wasn't... More

Thank you for your review of the Victoria Inn. We have not had such a good summer this year but when the weather is kind to us we also have a nice terrace area to eat breakfast alfresco style. Hopefully you will stay with us again soon. More

The Family room was small but functional and clean. Ensuite bathroom worked fine, beds and pillows comfortable. No noise at all at nights. Location was ok, 10-15mins walk to Victoria Station. Staff was very nice. Continental breakfast was included and it was ok. The only con: The hotel booked us a transfer to Gatwick Airport and gave us a voucher.... More

Hotel is in a good location, close to Victoria station and 10 minutes from Pimlico tube station. The hotel was clean, the reception staff were welcoming and friendly and the free wifi was stable....once you'd signed up. The breakfast was better than I expected although the dining room is very small, fills up with other guests quickly and gets very... More

Thank you for your review. I can assure you we do take note of the guests staying at the Hotel, you would have been recognised coming into and leaving the hotel. I am sorry to hear you suffered from inconsiderate guests. Had you advised reception the guests in question would have been approached to be more considerate. More

Clean, friendly, quite small room. Good service. Lucky we only had 1 small carry case. Would struggle to fit more. Breakfast basic but OK. Five min walk to Victoria Station, 10 to Coach station. Lots of pubs and eateries nearby and shopping centre in Vic station OK.

Thank you for your review. Victoria Inn is an old building and en-suites were not heard of when it was built. Hence to provide the required standards to meet today's demands the rooms have given up some of the space for this reason. However, we are very pleased that you found everything else to your satisfaction and will hopefully welcome... More

The hotel is very conveniently located and the staff were very friendly. The room I got was very small, with a single bed and the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. However, I assume that not all of the rooms are that small, but that was just my luck. At least it was very clean. The toilet was so near... More

Very clean and tidy, reception staff helpful and always smiling. It's really nice to see the reception room as it is, giving the image of the hotel. Room was larger comparing to other hotels in London but still very small. Even so, it was cosy and comfy. It was a pleasant surprise seeing towels changed everyday and room arranged till... More

Thank you for your review. We are please you enjoyed your stay and have noted your comments regarding breakfast. For a continental breakfast we do try to include many products so it is difficult to vary the menu. The staff will always be happy to replenish food that has run out. First impressions were favourable despite the surprise of being re-allocated to a different hotel than the one I booked. The welcome was efficient although I was surprised to be asked for my driving license as proof of identity. I was allocated a room on the lower ground floor accessed by the very small lift or stairs. The public areas are... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
