Good location , just one block from the Gloucester Tube, neighborhood restaurants and pubs. The rooms are priced very fairly ( for London standards) for amenities and services provided. This being our 3rd stay at this property , I feel that it might be under new management? Housekeeping staff and front desk very pleasant , 'concierge' not very friendly -... More

We stayed at the Ashburn Hotel for three nights after our arrival from Australia. Nice location: only a block from Gloucester Road tube station. Unfortunately the Piccadilly line platforms are closed until December, so we had to change stations before we got there from Heathrow. But it does look as though they are installing escalators from the Piccadilly line platform... More

The room was large by european standard. We were in a delux double so had a large bed with a desk and a chair. Air conditioning never seemed to work, but was fine because we kept the windows open. Had to have the windows open anyway because of sewer gas smell that constatly came out of the bathroom. It was... More

The hotel is very nice and in a great location. Every one of the staff members were rude to my clients except for their maid. They requested for a taxi to be called, and the front desk said ' helpless Americans, they can't do anything for themselves' . Then the bar tender always complained AND rolled his eyes when they... We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ashburn, it was in a great position in Kensington, rooms were lovely and clean and lots of little extras we really appreciated. All the staff were helpful and kind and the breakfast included in the room rate was excellent.

Could not fault this place, good location, comfortable rooms with everything you need, nice little quality touches and friendly, helpful staff (in a genuine way rather than an American fast food falsely sincere 'have a nice day' sort of way). Girlfriend remarked on the room having a decent hairdrier and that there was a plug socket next to a mirror,... More

My adult daughter and I stayed here from July 29 to Aug. 5, 2014. It is a small beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff. It is one block from the Glouster Road tube and an even shorter distance to the bus. They have a wonderful continental breakfast. The hotel is air conditioned and has free wifi which were both important... More

Located on Cromwell Rd and about 100 steps from Gloucester Station, the Ashburn is a nice little piece of luxury that is not overdone. Plush robes, good bedding and linens, responsive concierge, good quality continental breakfast items, French press coffee, fresh tasting juices, nice sized washrooms with good water pressure, all indicators of a hotel worth staying at. Returning from... More

This accomodation is located just few steps from Gloucester Rd Tube Station, maybe 3 or 4 minute walk oh ..and close to my favourite breakfast stop, Paul french patisserie just in front of Tube entrance. In the heart of London Kensington district, along Cromwell Rd few minutes far from Albertopolis' Heart and all his world renowned museum & art galeries.... More
