Very basic room. 18" open-fronted wardrobe with no drawer space at all. 1 stool to sit on, bed occupied most of the space in the room. Tiny 3-cornered wash basin mostly obscured by fixed tap-mixer so impossible even to wash face. "Bathroom accessories" turned out to be 2 toilet rolls and one half-empty bottle of handwash in the shower !... More

Having visited London in the past, We were very aware of room sizes particularly in budget class hotels. Kensington West was fine for our needs. We stayed in a family room(en suite). As we knew we wouldn't be in the room much so the size of the room wasn't an issue. The location is very convenient to the tube station.... More

Very disappointed in this location. Floors were dirty, shower leaked, no towels, no toilet paper. Booked as a bed and breakfast, the "breakfast" was a pre packaged roll available for a price. Staff was nasty and rude. Refused to help us with any of our complaints. Do not stay here even if you have no other choices. The train station... More

We went in a school trip. The service is not very good, but is not bad at the same time. The rooms are a little bit small but there is an underground station near from the hotel which may be positive to people who want to visit the city. The employees are friendly and it is a clean space. I... More

Have stayed at the Kensington West Hotel a couple of times. It's fine for what it is. Me and my mate laughed on arrival at the tiny room and bunk beds but you get what you pay for and all we were really interested in was having a night out in London. Consider it as somewhere to dump your bags... More

Me and my two friends went down to London and spent one night at Kensington West. It was a pleasant place, the hotel is very clean along with the room. I normally write reasonably detailed, impartial reviews. With this hotel I can't! I find it bizarre that such a place can sell rooms. We were stuck for a hotel on a business trip and my partner booked this. Where do I start? 1) Behind the check in counter (the bleak check in counter) there was a wooden shelf with a... More
