It's easy to get to the hotel and it is in a very nice surrounding, whit many restaurants in just a few minutes walk away. We were getting a room in the bottom floor, not so very spacious but enough for us. The bathroom was really tiny, but clean and looked newly renovated. The only bad thing was the bed,... More

Stayed one night whilst meeting up with family. Location is excellent. Room was clean and we'll made up. Staff on arrival very friendly so good prompt check in. Hotel furnished us with a map to get our bearings. Comfortable bed, perfectly adequate bathroom, breakfast limited selection but if you are after a full English loads of cafes near by. For the... If you are planning on spend a couple days in London then this is perfect. ✔️ Tube 5mins walk away ✔️ Locals shops & Pubs ✔️ Room clean & tidy It does what is says on the tin, the breakfast isn't much in all fairness but local Wetherspoons will sort you out a breakie for a few quid. Very pleasant... More

Easy to get to. From kings Cross it’s the Piccadilly line and get off at Gloucester Road and its a 10 minute walk. Come out facing Tescos , go to your right, ignore the first road you cross with the cobbles and turn right at next road “Harrington gardens”, its down there on your right. Takes the tube 20-25 minutes... More

I choose this hotel as my partner and I wanted to be within walking distance from the Royal Albert Hall. We arrived at the hotel around 11:00 after a very short walk from Gloucester Road Tube Station. The Reception area is small and was quite busy upon our arrival but we were attended to very quickly by the friendly Receptionists.... More

I have just returned from 2 nights here in a twin room. The room was spotless and nicely furnished and decorated. The free wifi worked a treat. The breakfast was basic but nice and was served downstairs in the Breakfast Room which was pleasant. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is excellent, only a short walk to Gloucester Road... More

Got a 3 person room here for a good price. Close to underground station and was very near great restaurants and even a Nandos! Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Continental breakfast was tasty enough. Free wifi was available and had a decent connection from room. Lift was very small however which made trips up very awkward... The rooms... More

Bloody hot rooms but turn the radiator down and open the window it's fine. Showers also a bit hot and cold didn't work too well. However, big bed, cleanish walls and flooring and cute perfectly formed bathroom made this a reasonable choice for a night. Everything else has been said. It's fine if you're not expecting the Ritz and two... More

The best aspect of this hotel is by far the location. The proximity to Gloucester Road tube station was a real winner, with tubes to the likes of Knightsbridge and Victoria being less than a ten minute commute. The hotel is clean and staff were efficient and well mannered. Despite being small, my room was modern and a great standard... More

We were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff all who displayed a pleasant manner.Nothing was too much bother for them and they readily supplied an extra pillow,a staff member waiting with it when we got back from a night out,Very impressed.Rooms were very small but sufficient for our overnight stay. Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
