The staff are great & breakfast is normally included. The breakfast isn't amazing but decent enough. It's within reasonable distance of the station (10 minutes walk). The room I was in was tiny, barely enough for the double bed & a shelf which supposed to be some excuse for a desk. It's acceptably clean. The worst thing was the lack... More

This is a well located, neat little hotel that proved perfect for our 2 day visit.Being 5 minutes walk from Gloucester Road Tube station means easy access to most of London but you don't always have to rely on public transport as the big museums (Natural History, V&A etc) are only 10 - 15 minutes stroll away on foot. There are... The hotel is on a beautiful block between Gloucester Rd and Earl's Court tube stations, away from the busy streets. My room was clean, but small, and the mattress was not very comfortable. The breakfast was good, but crowded. Overall, very good value for money. Hotel staff very nice. The room doors slam and the hotel should look into installing... More

The hotel room was impeccable. Bed, shower room, everything was great. The breakfast was OK, nothing great, but filling. Coffee is just left sitting in a percolator, so if you're first in - fine.... if not it's like tar. I would definitely stay here again.

It's easy to get to the hotel and it is in a very nice surrounding, whit many restaurants in just a few minutes walk away. We were getting a room in the bottom floor, not so very spacious but enough for us. The bathroom was really tiny, but clean and looked newly renovated. The only bad thing was the bed,... More

Stayed one night whilst meeting up with family. Location is excellent. Room was clean and we'll made up. Staff on arrival very friendly so good prompt check in. Hotel furnished us with a map to get our bearings. Comfortable bed, perfectly adequate bathroom, breakfast limited selection but if you are after a full English loads of cafes near by. For the... If you are planning on spend a couple days in London then this is perfect. ✔️ Tube 5mins walk away ✔️ Locals shops & Pubs ✔️ Room clean & tidy It does what is says on the tin, the breakfast isn't much in all fairness but local Wetherspoons will sort you out a breakie for a few quid. Very pleasant... More

Easy to get to. From kings Cross it’s the Piccadilly line and get off at Gloucester Road and its a 10 minute walk. Come out facing Tescos , go to your right, ignore the first road you cross with the cobbles and turn right at next road “Harrington gardens”, its down there on your right. Takes the tube 20-25 minutes... More

I choose this hotel as my partner and I wanted to be within walking distance from the Royal Albert Hall. We arrived at the hotel around 11:00 after a very short walk from Gloucester Road Tube Station. The Reception area is small and was quite busy upon our arrival but we were attended to very quickly by the friendly Receptionists.... More

I have just returned from 2 nights here in a twin room. The room was spotless and nicely furnished and decorated. The free wifi worked a treat. The breakfast was basic but nice and was served downstairs in the Breakfast Room which was pleasant. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is excellent, only a short walk to Gloucester Road... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
