I recently visited London now in Feb 2015. And we stayed at Park International and it was amazing. Front Desk was very helpful and very polite. Since we were first timers they gave us maps and coupons and how to get around. We had a twin room and it was perfect size and very clean. The bathroom no complaint at... More

Our family has just spent a week in London. The room fo our boys was a little bit smal but the room for the parentes were great. A big bed, not too soft. Breakfast was okay. There was plenty and different from the day before. The hole staff did everything for our family. Suggestion for the day, helpful with booking.... More

We stayed one night - our room was lovely, excellent and very clean bathroom with Occitane toiletries, had a street-facing room and it was quiet. Breakfast very disappointing indeed. Poor quality, cheap ingredients and very little choice. Eggs were tasteless, sausages may not even have contained meat! Only tinned apricots for fruit option. One choice of pastry.

The customer service at reception on arrival & departure was quite disappointing and they did not even ask if the stay had been enjoyed. Furthermore, the shower was exceptionally hot and nowhere was there instructions on how to use it, which could have had serious consequences for children. The only saving grace was the quality of the breakfast and the... More

The most important part really of a hotel is bed comfort. We stayed at the park hotel for 3 nights and checked out today, we stay approx. 3 nights every month in London, but we would not stay there again. The hotel on the outside looks very good, concierge service opening doors to taxi's etc. very good, helpfulness of reception... More

I stayed here recently for just two nights (wish it had been longer!) and was very impressed. The hotel looked lovely and was of a very good standard - I was a bit concerned it may be a rather bland business-y type place but although the service is as slick and polite as you'd hope, the building itself has plenty... This is a descend and clean hotel in a good area. The rooms are small. Ours was hopelessly small. That was extremely dissapointing indeed. We could hardly move together in the room, and definitelly not next to each other. The breakfast was good. The fruit salad was perfect, though never enough! The personnel was polite, although very noisy during removal... More

Hotel was wonderful clean with attentive, polite staff. When we arrived we were informed of a free upgrade to a junior suite. The hotel was excellently located near to museums and Kensington gardens and a few minutes walk from a well connected tube stop. Breakfast was plentiful, excellent with good quality ingredients, except for the bread which was disappointing.

I stayed at Park International Hotel in a double room and traveled with a group of friends who booked double, triple and single rooms. Therefore I was able to see some other rooms and get feedback from my friends too. We found the hotel really nice and very close to public transportation. The rooms were not actually that small (this... More

Lovely hotel in Kensington convenient for the sights 5 mins walk from a tube station. Restaurants nearby and bars. The bar area is beautiful and the cocktails fabulous. We had a junior suite which as well equipped even had a cafetière with fresh coffee, robes slippers and nice toiletries. Only fault was breakfast a little chaotic, it was valentines weekend... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
