The room was well equipt and immaculate. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good although the sausages and bacon could be hotter.we enjoyed it so much we intend to visit again. The location is ideal for visiting the museums , Harrods, and traveling by tube. Our room was quiet. This is one of the best hotels... More

What a joke, or should I say the joke is on us. Luckily only booked one night stay at this "hotel". Tiny tiny rooms and and absolute 1970s euro style furniture, no iron, no full length mirror, the only mirror in room measures 18"x20, a wall ac that only blew cold air, a shower drain that was 90% clogged, the... You can get free wifi at the Starbucks across from Gloucester Station (a few blocks away) or the restaurant across the street, but not at this hotel, where it costs 9 pounds a day for wifi for a computer, 7 pounds a day for wifi for a phone. That's outrageous. I was also not happy that when we arrived, we... More

Stayed at Hotel March 2015. Hotel is in a great location, close to Gloucester Road tube station. Friendly staff. Breakfast choice excellent for the price. Highly recommend this hotel. Good value for money

The reception staff lost our paperwork and it took 15 minutes to allocate a room, which, when we unlocked it was occupied by another couple. Back to reception where they allocated a room in the basement - quiet, until we realised they we could hear tube trains running beneath us. We asked to move and were given room on 4th... More

We were upgraded to the superior room.. We stayed there for three nights and very happy with everything.. The location is good and near the station and waitrose. Hotel amenities are from loccitane.. Breakfast is so so but we are satisfied with it considering the rest of the service and etc.. Would definitely recommend the hotel to our friends

Nice clean room, and good gym, but and hours worth of intermittant fire alarm last night meant I got very little sleep. All the guests were assembled in the foyer and there were no staff on hand to advise what was going on, no wardens to take a roll call. No staff at reception to find out what was happening... More

We stayed here 1 night, convenient location, while seeing a show at The Royal Albert Hall. We have stayed in a more expensive hotel in the area but the Park International was a better experience. Polite, helpful and welcoming staff on the desk. The room was not huge but spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was Excellent. The only moan... More

This was our third stay and we were as usual satisfied with our stay. Well maintained hotel and you have plenty of good restaurants to chose from in this part of the city (great burgers at Hache, approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel just to name one restaurant). It´s easy to take the tube from LHR to the closest... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
