Spent a week in a lovely room overlooking Cromwell Road. The staff was friendly and professional, the breakfasts were wonderful. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood with good restaurants and pubs. It is close to two Underground stations, Kensington Park, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. I highly recommend.

We found this Hotel to be excellent. There were 3 of us (my husband, myself and our daughter) we had a large room with a large bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. Although the only thing that let it down was the terrible double bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Free wifi in the lobby. Accomodation included a lovely... More

I've been to London about 10 times now. Usually for work and sometimes for pleasure. Something which I've experienced several times was getting a tiny room in and old dusty hotel. Even worse, multiple times I've ended up with a ground floor room that would rumble every few minutes when an underground train would whizz by. I had a ground... More

Really noisy in the street-side rooms. Avoid the 00 numbered rooms! Stayed 5 nights. Even with A/C on,when Trucks and busses went past, one experienced the vibration as well as the noise. I was provided an "upgrade" to a supposed "Executive" room (had a bathrobe& slippers)that was subject to the underground tube rumblings because it was below sidewalk level. The... More

Located in South Kensington, this is a very elegant and comfortable hotel. People from the staff are very friendly, the rooms are lovely furnished and the breakfast is perfect. There's a great choice among brioches, cereals, waffles and also sausages and scrambled eggs. It is very close to the tube in Gloucester Road and the borough is classy and tidy,... More

Rooms comfy, English breakfast is good even for Americans. Short walk to tube and Kensington Palace and park and many restaurants. Happy hour in the bar is 5-7:30. Two for one cocktails and discount wine and beer. WiFi is available in lobby, bar and breakfast room. Log in at lobby and it may go with you to your room if... More

I walked in the front door (after a short 2-minute walk from the underground station), and the receptionist came out from behind the front desk to greet me with a handshake and a smile. This was the tone throughout my stay. The room was small to be sure - but this is an old(er) hotel that has been renovated. And... More

If you love the west end of London, you will like this hotel. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. For the money, the room is not as small as other we have stayed in and the bath room is totally modern. Nice happy hour bar to finish off your day. Five minute walk to the tube and a great... More

Stayed for two night whilst visiting London for our wedding anniversary. Located about 5 minutes walk from Gloucester Park tube station and 10 minutes from Natural History museum and V&A museum. Lovely location to stay. Received a friendly welcome and friendly staff throughout our stay. Stayed in room 114 which was reasonable size and tastefully decorated. Found the room very... More

We found the rooms here comfortable but the bathroom needed a little work with some of the tiles loose and cracked. There was also an LED light permanently on in the doorway (placed there so you can see the light switch). This lights up the room quite a bit at night. We also booked a taxi to the airport through...
