Stayed here ver the weekend with two friends in a triple room. Service was great from start to end with speedy check-in and luggage storage whilst we explored the city until our room was ready (we arrived at 11am knowing check in wasn't until 2pm). Upon our return we were greeted kindly and shown to our room - a double... More

The hotel is located in a nice area, not far from Hyde Park - good for the joggers... the hotel interior is pleasant and it seems it was renovated in recent years. rooms are big and comfortable, staff is freindly and helpful. an underground station is not far, and it is easy to get anywhere in London, as there are... This is a nice hotel, convenient to the tube station, that also didn't have some of the downsides that I had read that many European hotels have. The room was spacious enough, as was the bathroom, although counter space was somewhat limited. Hand towels were provided--apparently some European hotels don't do this. The room also came with a chiller so... More

One of my favorites since the first time I visited London. Centrally located, three blocks away from tube, close to supermarkets. Small fridge and coffee/tea service provided. Top tier staff! Love it!

Staying for 2 nights. We had a lovely room very well appointed lovely wet room but there had to be a but. We were below reception and bar also how room was by the busy road. On our first night it sounded like furniture being moved until 2 in the morning also a lot of people shouting. When that subsided... More

I give this hotel a poor rating only because of the mattresses on the beds. Other aspects are quite fine, but the beds are a very important aspect of operating a hotel, and weigh highly on the overall hotel quality. My company houses me in this hotel on a regular basis, so collectively, I and my co-workers have likely slept... More

First, we arrived very early and prior to the check-in time. Of course, we were very tired after traveling from NYC and our room was not ready... they found a room for us within an hour and it was cozy, comfortable, very clean and quaint. The staff made every effort to accommodate us and made our stay wonderful. Anything we... More

The hotel is neat and clean. The room was small and very ordinary. More like a cheap motel than a London hotel room. Good area, reasonably close to town. Bed was very uncomfortable with springs sticking into me all night. Breakfast was good. One night was enough.

Very clean hotel w/ b-fast included. One complaint: there were 5 of us. 3 in one room and 2 in the other. Those rooms should have been switched. The room for 2 was very large. The room for 3 was small

Hotel very accommodating, provided cot with bedding for toddler, highchair, toy pack and little help like washing our plastic plates / beakers etc after breakfast. Allowed early check in and held luggage on last day. All the staff were lovely and hotel in good location near Gloucester road tube (a few steps at this station for pushchair to navigate). Shame... Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
