Stayed for two night whilst visiting London for our wedding anniversary. Located about 5 minutes walk from Gloucester Park tube station and 10 minutes from Natural History museum and V&A museum. Lovely location to stay. Received a friendly welcome and friendly staff throughout our stay. Stayed in room 114 which was reasonable size and tastefully decorated. Found the room very... More

We found the rooms here comfortable but the bathroom needed a little work with some of the tiles loose and cracked. There was also an LED light permanently on in the doorway (placed there so you can see the light switch). This lights up the room quite a bit at night. We also booked a taxi to the airport through... Hotel room was tiny, hasn't got enough room to even lay out luggage on the floor to open them. The first day we arrived, they put half used shampoo in our room. They didn't even refill toiletries everyday, had to call reception to ask. Spoke to this person at the reception, his name is David asking him if the hotel... More

I visited with a friend for afternoon tea and didn't have high expectations as it can be hit or miss depending on where you go. I must say it was one of the best afternoon teas I have had, from the ambience and the service to the quality of the food and tea. I would definitely recommend this hotel as... More

We stayed at this hotel before and after our cruise from Harwich. This hotel was within walking distance to museums, the subway (Gloucester station ), shopping and small restaurants. The service was great and the room size was manageable . Free breakfast was offered. The concierge was wonderful. He helped us store our luggage and called us cabs as necessary... More

This hotel was excellent and a great find. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and beds vety comfortable. The room was average in size and much bigger than New York City hotels I have stayed at. Bathroom was a good size. The free breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely stay here again and... More

I booked this hotel at a deep discount via Travelpony (http://www.travelpony.com/?rc=whcp) and for the price I got I expected to be in a tiny, single bed room in the basement. But I actually got a decent sized, double bed, clean room on the 2nd floor overlooking Cromwell. Really good neighborhood close to the tube spots. Air conditioning and they even... More

I took my grandson to this hotel for afternoon tea using a Groupon voucher. Having had a number of these sort of afternoon teas via Groupon I wasn't sure how good it would be as I have had various degrees of success with these vouchers. This was undoubtely the best 'voucher' afternoon tea I had had, great sandwiches and cakes... More

Very good location.Helpful staff. Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay again and can fully recommend this hotel. Work was being carried out to improve facilities but care was taken to minimise any possible disruption.

This hotel is fabulous, our family of three was upgraded on arrival to a room with two double beds. The room was spotless, and spacious although the bathroom a little small. Attention to detail is fantastic here, a problem with the card for the electricity was sorted in 10 minutes. My husband asked for a softer pillow and the receptionist... More
