I found very few aspects of this hotel likeable. It's not a purpose built hotel, but instead a series of Victorian terraces that have joined together and bashed through. That's quite common in the lower price categories of West London hotels and involves all sorts of compromises regarding oddly sized rooms and differing ceiling heights. The problem is this hotel... We had booked the International Park hotel as it was near to museums and the Royal Albert Hall. We found it a clean and very comfortable hotel. The staff were very pleasant and yes we would go again.I am trying to research a good price at the moment for a visit with my sister in March!!!

We were stranded in London for an extra night due to technical problems with our Eurostar and the staff was extremely helpful, ensuring that we had all the required tools to rebook our ticket. It would have been almost impossible to do so without their help and for that, in particular, we are very grateful (especially to Beatriz, Estefania and... More

Superbly located hotel in South Kensington, really welcoming staff and a nice reception area. We booked into the hotel and headed off to our room (no.53) which was very small indeed - not enough room for adequate luggage for 2 adults for a week, but it was clean and well equipped for the stay. The breakfast room provided a nice... More

An enjoyable stay, all very efficient with genuinely friendly staff. The building is beautiful and elegantly decorated - particularly liked the sympathetic artwork on the walls. Room not large but big enough not to feel cramped. Five minutes' walk from the Natural History Museum. A word of warning: if you are thinking of visiting the restaurant immediately opposite (Ristorante Vecchiomonde),... More

! stayed here on Saturday 14th January with my wife for 1 night. The staff on the front desk when we checked were excellent. Great attitude and very efficient especially the young lady. The hotel was very clean and excellent quality. The bedrooms were small but the expected size for a London hotel. live music in the bar was a... More

after a delightful start some years ago the hotel is on the decline; a few years ago everything was newly refurbished and everything was fresh. But now, the color comes off, literally; especially the beds are terrible!! Not only are they small, but the mattresses are so worn out I could feel the wooden planks underneath of me; WiFi is... Check in was easy. Hotel has lovely staff and were easy to talk to. I read a lot of comments with complaints about the breakfast and was dreading it, but it was great, lovely start to the day. My only complaint and this is tiny!!!! The bed was on wheels as usual mac with the wooden floor it moved a... More

Rooms were very clean and big, stayed in a suite, but expensive. Excellent location. Loads of shops and restaurants nearby and Gloucester Road tube is just around the corner. Only reason I marked them down is because they pre authorised my debit card in case I used the mini bar, of which I had no intention to, and then I... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
