Rooms are very pleasant and service is extraordinary. Especially nice is also the breakfast and dining section. And the food was also decent. I felt very well in Indigo in every aspect. I can only recommend! Also suitable for a romantic stay.

This hotel was an absolute pleasure to stay at! Staff were friendly, service was excellent and the room/ amenities were spot on. Amazing location for Earl's Court station. We stayed in a junior suite on the first floor- it was beautiful. The decor is fabulous! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a special little getaway in London. We will... More

Whether it was the good heavy curtains, or the cocktail at the bar (!?), I slept for 10 hours every night of my 3-day stay. As a solo woman traveler, I felt safe and happy. Many of the same staff as my last visit, and good to hear that they love working there. Little libraries of books, fantastic lighting and... More

My daughter and I loved staying here on our recent trip to London. The hotel is located in a quiet area in a combination business/residential area in one of the finest areas of London. The Earl's Court Tube stop is right around the corner, as well as restaurants, a grocery store and pharmacy. It's not in the middle of the... More

First impressions do count . Friendly and helpful staff. Superb rooms with large modern bathrooms. I walked to Sloane Square and Beauchamp Place ; so the location is excellent . The hotel is not in Kensington but in Earls Court which as come a long way since the 60's . I have stayed at many of the 4 and 5... More

This hotel is among many others in the central part of London that is a quick walk to the Earl's Court tube station that incorporates 3 lines so it is a breeze to get to anyplace across London. It is a boutique hotel converted from what was a Victorian styled neighborhood which adds flavor, interest, and is surprisingly quiet and... More

Imagine a hotel in central London that is reasonably priced, located near a Tube stop, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. This hotel is clean, modern, and spacious. The rooms are air conditioned. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are large by any standard, equipped with rain showers. The staff is attentive and friendly. The nearby main street is... More

Very clean, modern and first class service all the way. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. This hotel is only minutes walking distance from Earl's Court train station and is within easy reach for restaurants and would suit the majority of people looking for easy access into the city. The breakfast was mouth watering complements to the chef, will... More

We've been to London many times but this was our first stay at Hotel Indigo and we were really impressed. Location - is ideal, just a minute walk from Earls Court tube station. Rooms - beautifully decorated, lovely Aveda minatures in the bathroom, fluffy towels and dressing gowns, the comfiest bed we've slept in in a hotel, air con (a... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
