Had a wonderful long weekend in Hotel Indigo, Earls Court. Hotel is only a few minutes walk from the tube station, but in a fairly quiet location. Our twin room was really big, with two super-comfy double beds and we had a lovely view to the front of the hotel. Room was beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high... More

This hotel is a really short distance from Earls Court station, like a one minute walk, making it really convenient for travel to the centre of London. You can be in Oxford Circus in about 15 minutes if you hop on the tube. The hotel is clean and comfortable. There is free wifi and complimentary papers. The staff are very... More

We had stayed in the Hotel Indigo in Paddington and loved it so when we were looking for a hotel within walking distance of the Albert Hall (1 mile away) we were delighted to find another Indigo! Perfect location-5 minutes walk from Earls Court tube station so also perfect for getting into the centre of London (20 minutes on the... More

Excellent central hotel, only 2mins walk to tube station. Friendly early check in, Tip for you pre-book breakfast at check in for £10 (normally £16). The bedrooms come with complimentary mini bar which is a bonus, high standard finish for rooms. Breakfast at there restaurant (kensington quarter) is worth getting up for, very fresh and a little different than the... More

Situated a few minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station, just off Earls' Court Road - quiet yet convenient. A good base to explore London's many attractions. The tube station is also on the line to Heathrow too, so it would make a good hotel to stay at prior or after flying. Our room was at the front of the... More

What a fab hotel. Staff really nice and absolutely spotless. We didn't try the food but had a few drinks in the bar, which was open late so always a bonus. Great location, two minutes from the tube. Can't fault this hotel at all.

I love Hotel Indigo, super happy to have found it! I selected the hotel based on the location and rating and I was even more happy upon arrival. It's located around the corner from Earls Court Station - about 50m, so very handy to explore London. The hotel has a funky modern vibe, but it's friendly and warm. The styling... More

This hotel is a true gem, hidden on a quite street just 2 minutes away from the Earl's Court tube station. Felt like a boutique hotel, not afraid of taking risks with design, colours and general look of the place. The room we stayed in (double bed guest room) was a bit small by our standards but enough for a... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
