Not a terrible hotel - clean and with basic but perfectly fine bedding, bathroom etc. The reason for the low score is that when booking I had the binary option of breakfast or no breakfast - I decided to take the punt for an extra £10 per night. Once I sat down the next day, apparently I wasn't valid for... More

Went for a 1 night stay nye. Staff have no clue on customer service. Bar was meant to open 6pm nye when I went down there was no staff on the bar. Room service near impossible. I asked to have drinks put on my room and I ended up with a staff member banging on my door thinking I was... More

Ok location really close to Earls Court tube station then only a few stops on the district line from Westminster. Staff very helpful, however from 08.30 on the day of checkout not only was the cleaner regularly trying to get in the room but there was nothing but noise - Room 406. For a city central hotel priced at £126... More

I stayed here as I had a work do in town. The staff are friendly when you check in. I had a single room it was small but clean. The floor however was a bit squeaky but that is to do with the age of the hotel. I didn't have breakfast. It was a minute walk from Earls Court station.... More

I booked this hotel because it had Best Western attached to it having been caught out a few times in London ending up in very bad hotels I thought I couldn't go wrong with a Best western. Unfortunately it was not great , I stayed over on business so the most important things were the bed , comfort , food.... More

This hotel is in a great location being close to the Earls Court station. The rooms were very small but clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The free wifi was not very reliable and some days it was a struggle to connect

I had such a lovely stay. With a warm welcome at reception from Greta and Teresa in the morning. Though it was way before check-in time(14:00 hrs), but still got accommodated straightaway by lovely staff. In the evening, everything was briefly explained by then duty manager Randhir. As our stay was just for 1 night, next day met another lovely... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
