We had a good deal so the cost was not full London prices, location was excellent, walking distance from the main museums with a 6 year old, 5 mins from the tube for attractions further away, good breakfast, really helpful staff, rooms were ok, but must mention something others have commented on, my feet did stick out the end of... the rooms are worn and small. There is no AC and it is not good soundproof you hear what happens in the next room. breakfast's choice was also efficient and you must know the difference between continental breakfast (a few slices of bread) and English breakfast with eggs bacon. the worst was the wifi without the ability to see streaming... I boked here to be close to Olympia . The hotel has nice staff, it is very clean and has nice beds. Sorry to say that there is no ventilation in the rooms. Had to open the window and put the trashcan there to hold it open. Internet is very very very bad, sloooooow and cuts off. But then I... More

Great location. Great service. Was able to check in early. Room was upgraded. Clean room. Shower good. Quiet location for a central London stay. Was also able to store bags once checked out so that we could enjoy our last day. Would recommend.

Recently stayed here with a group of friends. Friendly and polite staff. Room was clean and more than adequate, better than some I have stayed at in the area. Didn't eat breakfast in the restaurant, preferred to have visit local pubs in the Earls Court Road which offered good alternatives.

We got a very good deal on this hotel so our expections weren't particularly high... but we were very pleasantly surprised! The location is great - a couple of minutes' walk from Earl's Court tube and close to restaurants & shops. The public areas of the hotel are welcoming and well-maintained and all the staff we met were cheerful, helpful... More

Rooms are small, bed was to short and my feet were up against the desk. Mattered was too soft from being old. I had to give back my breakfast as there was a hair in the egg. Dinner was tasteless. The topper was when I asked for a taxi to Paddington and asked to make sure it would not cost... More

Stayed here for 1 night courtesy of Tesco Clubcard last weekend with family of 4. We had a family room, plus a single for teenage son. Family room was spacious, clean and comfortable - even had a proper single bed for my daughter rather than the usual sofa bed son that was a bonus. We were on the ground floor... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
