Awesome location, only a 5 minute walk to earls court station. Rooms were spacious but a little old. Staff were friendly. Free wifi. Bathroom needs updating but other than that can't really complain :)

As others have said, this place is in a good location but that is it. The place is very tired and worn out. The bedroom I had was cleanish but very much a basic and old fashioned. The nearby Delemere Best Western is better. Not far off being a hostel. Really poor and certainly would not stay again. There are... More

Stayed for 1 night in December 2012 and had forgotten about this hole of a hotel. Not quite sure where to begin, reception was awful, slow, very poor English and just didn't care. Room was unbelievably bad, curtains hanging off and didn't close properly letting light in to room, desk and chair so close together a size 0 skinny supermodel... More

Great location, good restaurant, bar and outdoor areas. Rooms very much 3 star. If you have stayed in a B+B type 3 star hotel in London before then this is in that range, probably at the high end. Room larger than others we have been in, bathroom a bit more run down. We found the room a bit warm although... More

Stayed with friends for two nights. Rooms were okay sized, but incredibly stuffy. Window only opened slightly and there were no fans in the room which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Breakfast staff were great and food was made to order and came very quickly. We ordered some drinks from the bar and were sitting outside as the staff member... More

A small group of us stayed here over the weekend as we were in London to see a concert. First impressions of the hotel reception area were good - what we expected. We booked on an employee rate which gave us discounted rate (bed and breakfast). We paid for these using 2 travel cards. One had £37 pounds on another... More

A friend and I recently stayed at the Best Western Burns Hotel for two nights in order to attend the Wimbledon Championships. The location (at Earls Court) was very convenient, with a five to 10 minute walk to the tube and plenty of shops and restaurants round about. The hotel has an interesting history in being a former home of... More

An inexpensive hotel which was clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff Rooms and bathroom a bit on the small side and breakfast was underwhelming but would stay here again . We went to Wimbledon tennis and it was very convenient for this. Earl's Court tube minutes away and lots of places to eat nearby

Location is really good...short walk to the underground. Everything else was fine. Pretty average. But not bad in any way. Just average. Lots of nearby shops/restaurants/etc...underground is convenient and easy to use.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
