Gorgeous hotel with amazing rooms. Walking distance to kings road with great shops and patisseries. I loved this hotel for its position and quirkiness. Would definitely recommend this hotel and I would certainly come back again in the future

I am going to start off this review with my only complaint... It's that I have to write a review!! I really want to keep this gorgeous hotel a secret from everyone else... And enjoy it, selfishly, for whenever I want to treat myself! My partner and I booked this hotel in the lovely Chelsea area of London as a... More

Since Sheraton Belgravia closed down a couple of years ago, I have not had a favorite hotel in London. I prefer staying in the Chelsea/Knightsbridge area and have tried out several places. The Sydney House hotel was my favorite until I discovered San Domenico House in Draycott Place, a minute or 3 from Sloane Square. A dream fulfilled - the... More

I stayed here with my son in a magnificent twin room;after the lift there were a couple of flights of stairs but they kindly brought our luggage up!! Our room was close to the roof terrace with great views over the Kings road & towards the river. The room had 3 windows so was nice & light;it was so big... More

This is an excellent, well located, boutique hotel near Sloane Square. The service is exemplary and the staff go out of their way to assist. While the accommodation is comfortable and reasonably commodious by London standards, my bathroom was small and quite cramped. The bedrooms are not particularly well set up for work purposes or storing clothes, but are quiet... More

Good atmosphere in great location! Very kind staff and good atmosphere. No bar which kind of is ennoying. Beds are really good and nice balcony with a view if you have a room in one of the upper floor. If you want to stay next to Sloane's square it's a good choice with charme.

We spent two nights here and have to say the staff are very very welcoming. Opened the roof terrace for us out of hours and bought us drinks and refreshments, recommended and booked a table at an impressive local restaurant nearby... Too many "above and beyond" instances to mention them all but the staff really made our stay special. We... More

Stayed here five nights. First impressions, "wow this is different". Greeted by very friendly Italian staff, in what felt like the lounge of a 19th or early 20th century town house of an Italian aristocrat. Plush soft furnishings, heavy curtains, patterned wallpaper and no shortage of antique furniture, art works and curios. Up the slightly narrow staircase to my first... More

We spent several nights at the San Domenico House in mid-June, and it was a real find. The location is perfect-- between Hyde Park/Buckingham Palace and Chelsea, just on the west edge of Belgravia, a couple of blocks from Sloane Square and the Saatchi Museum, near to several tube stations and many sights, all within walking distance. Lots of good... More

This boutique hotel located in Chelsea, has nice rooms and suites. In walking distance you are at Sloane square and Sloane avenue with all the nice shops and restaurants. The lobby is very cosy and you can have tea in there. It looks like a private house, with books and furniture giving the nice impression that somebody lives there. The... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
