Just a fantastic boutique hotel, short walk to Sloan Square station. If you are there over the weekend, they even have a food market every Saturday near by. They have an amazing communal terrace with great views. Assuming your room does not have a private terrace. A great hideaway. There is an fantastic designer ice cream parlour close by. All... More

What a pleasant surprise. As others have noted, if Chelsea is where you want to be located, you cannot beat this incredibly warm, generously proportioned hotel that feels more like a home. Treat yourself!

In comparison to major 5 star hotels this is lacking in certain modern facilities such as aircon high, speed lifts, duvets, power showers etc It is convenient to Sloane Square with reasonable on street parking within 100 yards. The atmosphere is of a smart Chelsea Townhouse, although the check in process was unnecessarily laborious and pretentious. However,as romantic settings go this has lovely intimate small... More

We had reason to stay in this part of London for a visit with long-time friends from the states. It lived up to its reputation as a very stylish, small and quiet place to stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. We were only here one night, but had absolutely no complaints and would recommend it to... More

There are a number of reasons I chose this lovely old world hotel to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday: its location in the centre of Chelsea (in walking distance to both Sloan Sqare and South Kensignton underground stations) as well as to Tom Kitchen for breakfast; its beautifully decrated and ususually spacious rooms (judging from the pictures on their homesite);... Wonderful stay in a great location. The views from the foor top was amazing. Helpful staff and friendly staff. Large room size especially for centre London. A small hotel good if you prefer service and style to modern large hotel.

London is expensive, very expensive, and it is more expensive even to stay at districts such as Chelsea, South Kensignton or Notting Hill. San Domenico House is not cheap by some European standards, but we have to put it in the perspective of where it is located and the offer you get from other accomodations in London and specially in... Not an usual hotel. If you have seen already a lot of places in London and you would like to stay like a Londoner please stay at this hotel. Best location, good service, nice rooms and a good rate. It will be like stay at home.

This hotel calls itself a boutique hotel although in reality it could also be described as an up market B & B. The prices are steep but the accommodation and service was 1st rate. Other reviews have suggested it is like a home from home, which is true if you drive Porches and Mercs, as it is very well appointed.... More

Only had the one night at the San Domenico House, what a shame it wasn't more. The room was beautiful, luxurious and spotless. Big bed, very comfortable with soft pillows. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The other big plus is the location just round the corner from Five Fields restaurant ,another great find. Next time I will be... More
