We spent several nights at the San Domenico House in mid-June, and it was a real find. The location is perfect-- between Hyde Park/Buckingham Palace and Chelsea, just on the west edge of Belgravia, a couple of blocks from Sloane Square and the Saatchi Museum, near to several tube stations and many sights, all within walking distance. Lots of good... More

This boutique hotel located in Chelsea, has nice rooms and suites. In walking distance you are at Sloane square and Sloane avenue with all the nice shops and restaurants. The lobby is very cosy and you can have tea in there. It looks like a private house, with books and furniture giving the nice impression that somebody lives there. The... More

I had a nice 2 night stay here and enjoyed the stay. The gentleman who checked me in, Paolo was great and helpful. I liked my Gallery Suite. The canopy bed was great. The evening agent, who was working both nights was not friendly. The only disappointment on the stay.

I have stayed at some absolutely lovely hotels over the years but San domenico house exceeded my expectations. When we arrived the staff were fabulous and very welcoming. The interior was incredible, there is so much to explore. Our room was stunning and I was bowled over at just how perfect it was. The attention to detail everywhere at this... More

What a find! Arriving at the great ,central location ( just off Sloane Sqaure in Chelsea) one is welcomed by the glow of lanterns at the entrance .... Reception is warm & inviting & sets the tone for your stay! The room is very spacious & luxurious with a huge king size bed ,large marble bathroom with Molton Brown Toiletries... More

Just a fantastic boutique hotel, short walk to Sloan Square station. If you are there over the weekend, they even have a food market every Saturday near by. They have an amazing communal terrace with great views. Assuming your room does not have a private terrace. A great hideaway. There is an fantastic designer ice cream parlour close by. All... More

What a pleasant surprise. As others have noted, if Chelsea is where you want to be located, you cannot beat this incredibly warm, generously proportioned hotel that feels more like a home. Treat yourself!

In comparison to major 5 star hotels this is lacking in certain modern facilities such as aircon high, speed lifts, duvets, power showers etc It is convenient to Sloane Square with reasonable on street parking within 100 yards. The atmosphere is of a smart Chelsea Townhouse, although the check in process was unnecessarily laborious and pretentious. However,as romantic settings go this has lovely intimate small... More

We had reason to stay in this part of London for a visit with long-time friends from the states. It lived up to its reputation as a very stylish, small and quiet place to stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. We were only here one night, but had absolutely no complaints and would recommend it to... More

There are a number of reasons I chose this lovely old world hotel to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday: its location in the centre of Chelsea (in walking distance to both Sloan Sqare and South Kensignton underground stations) as well as to Tom Kitchen for breakfast; its beautifully decrated and ususually spacious rooms (judging from the pictures on their homesite);...
