I visited London recently, And the Egerton house bar came highly recommended by a friend. Needless to say I was not disappointed, The service was amazing and both me and my companion were looked after very well by Esley who made the best Martini's! Good to see a bar with classic cocktail made to high standard. Being a hotel bartender... More

Like all red carnation properties this establishment is nice but this one is overpriced for what is on offer. I have stayed at 3 of their other properties in London inc the Milestone so I know what to expect service and comfort wise. Yes the staff are very friendly indeed and the beds are comfortable but the cheapest rooms are... More

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at The Egerton House Hotel. We were very comfortable, to the point of it being difficult to say 'goodbye' and that was after only one night ! I can honestly say, having stayed at many places over the years in London...that this is the cream of the crop for us. The staff... More

To be honest, I am typically disinclined to write about my experiences staying at a hotel. Over the years I have found that for the most part services are adequate. However, our stay at the Egerton House Hotel was so incredible, I feel I must share with this community my absolute delight concerning this exceptional hotel. We have been fortunate... More

This lovely hotel is in a quiet house (actually 2 townhouses) just off a busy main road and minutes from the museums and shopping in Knightsbridge. The staff are fantastic, our room was decorated beautifully and the common area is so comfortable to sit and relax in at any time of the day. It is really a home away from... More

This is a stunning small/boutique hotel which offers the best service we have encountered. Why stay in overpriced mega hotels when the intimate atmosphere of Edgerton House far exceeds even the more obvious, famous London hotels. We look forward to our next trip to this great hotel.

In Knightsbridge , in the beautiful Egerton Gardens-Crescent- Terrace , this hotel is stunning. Boutique hotel, like a luxury private house. Rooms are beautiful, details, furniture, the whole atmosphere is really special. Walking distance to Harrod's and South Kensington. Recommend !

The Egerton House feels like a cozy house party. A small hotel in upscale Knightsbridge, it has pretty rooms and the best afternoon tea I've ever had. The breakfast was lovely every morning, and the attentive staff took care of everything--like recommending excellent local restaurants and refilling a fruit plate in the room daily. After a five day visit, we... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
