What a lovely hotel! Was here for a night at Valentines and it was perfect. The staff were ever so helpful and friendly, nothing seemed like too much trouble. The room was clean, cosy and the extra touches (rose petals, chocolates) were the icing on the cake. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to visit again!

This was our first stay - 8 nights - at this hotel. Everything about it was wonderful. It's a small, boutique hotel that is totally charming. We had a smallish room, which was beautifully decorated in blue and white (the walls were blue and white striped fabric) with lovely furniture and accents. The lighting was wonderful - not something that... More

My husband and I planned a trip to London to coincide with a visit to friends who lived a few hours train ride outside of London. With so many hotels to choose from we picked a few that were recommended and decided to try two different ones while in London with our trip to our friends sandwiched in the middle... More

This is a very english, posh and tasteful hotel with a personal touch and super service. Its expensive and it has a great location. You need to be awate though that everything is tiiiiiiny!! Lobby, bar (my god!), stairs, rooms (my god again), bathrooms - its almost miniature so some may find it somewhat claustrophobic. If you are used to... More

We have stayed here twice since the Egerton was recommended to us in December by a trusted friend. How right he was and we are delighted to have found a sympathetic environment in which to stay when visiting London, where the staff go out of their way to cater for our every need in a smiling friendly manner. We will... More

We selected this hotel because of its high rating on TripAdvisor. We spent four nights, including Valentine's Day. This hotel lived up to its high expectation. It's so good that I almost hesitate to recommend it, because it might be booked when I want to go back. The hotel is well-maintained and there all sorts of special touches. The staff... More

I can't believe it's been a year since our last visit. Two nights in a gorgeous quiet room and staff that have that magic balance of being there if you need them for anything but also letting you treat it like a home from home. Even the people who drop into the lounge downstairs are all, how can I say... More

I stayed at this wonderful hotel with my wife on our first anniversary, I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel, the biggest plus of the hotel, is simply the staff, they welcomed us with a smile and a glass of champagne as soon as we arrived. We also had an amazing turn down service witch comprised of rose petals,... More

Very welcoming as soon as you step through the door. Everything you would expect in a hotel but so often do not get. The bedrooms were very comfortable and with nice little touches, the public rooms were tastefully decorated and all the staff very attentive for all our needs and requests. Well worth an other visit, well done all.

Great location, beautiful room and good food. Walking distance to major arteries and attractions. The rooms are very homey and beautifully decorated and themed. The breakfast was quite delicious and the drinks at the bar were high class. Great to see that london has a hotel that's homey and not always corporate. Definitely stay again.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
