We recently stayed at the Egerton House Hotel for two nights. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We loved the location, our room and hotel bar! It is a small, charming and personal hotel and I would recommend it to my friends. Look forward to staying here again!

My husband and I stayed at the Egerton House Hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is a small elegant and charming hotel with a perfect location in a quiet street in Knightbridge, a short walk fra shopping and the underground. Our room was lovely and comfortable with a nice view of a private garden The entire staff are very helpful... More

We spent 6 nights at the Egerton House Hotel following many glowing recommendations on this site. We prefer a boutique hotel because it becomes a personal experience and in this respect the Egerton does this in spades. They take care and interest in what you are doing and will offer to assist in anyway possible. One example is that I... More

I booked the hotel on the strength of the previous reviews and was not disappointed. As has already been said, the hotel is perfectly located in a quiet street in Kensington. The room itself (a studio suite - well worth upgrading) was fantastic and the service was exceptional. I would definitely return next time.

We stayed here a few years ago and were so happy to see it is still a gem. The staff could not have been more helpful and caring. I happened to mention in conversation that I needed to go do some back exercises after a long day and in no time there was a yoga mat delivered to the room.... More

The Egerton House was a great find in Kensington. Just a few blocks from the Victoria & Albert and only five minutes from the South Kensington tube station, it is in the heart of things, but on a totally quiet side street. The room was very nice, the staff was superb - anything you asked was a joy for them... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Egerton 5 days and were wowed with the excellent service, the beautiful decor, the great breakfasts and the amenities. The large bathtub was a treat and they provide a bath pillow to enhance the comfort. The bedding was so comfortable and the pillows were so soft and lush. They fixed any problem immediately.... Truly a remarkable team at Egerton House Hotel in London. Our room was spotless and elegant. The entire staff were truly professional.....there was nothing they wouldn't have done to make our stay perfect. Antonio's martini's are legendary, by the way! We will be back whenever our travels take us to London.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
