Fantastic weekend - the most attentive, friendly and effective staff I have ever seen in a hotel. Champagne in the room on arrival, brilliant afternoon tea (with more champagne!) great local restaurant recommendations and bookings. Large comfy rooms. Large beds. Personalised pillows. Nespresso coffee maker with unlimited capsules. Free wifi. Small, friendly hotel, great location in Knightsbridge, lots going on... More

We have stayed at this boutique hotel twice, the first time being our honeymoon the second to celebrate Christmas. The accommodations are top notch and the service is unparallelled. The Egerton House is a place where you can truly relax. I have heard from others that it is expensive but in reality, by comparison, it is a great value. I... More

Wonderful weekend stay with my 10 year old daughter. We were greeted by the amazing staff as we walked in, and they knew our names. They had reserved a perfect room for us and paid extra special attend to my daughter. They offered us tea before heading out. Our room was very nice and had many special touches from fruit,... More

We recently spent a week at this lovely small hotel in the Knightsbridge area. It is a completely refurbished property with lovely public spaces and beautifully decorated, comfortable and immaculate rooms and baths. The breakfast selections were wonderful, as was the bar menu for light suppers. The service was simply incredible from the moment we stepped in the front door.... More

We recently spent about a week...celebrating a wonderful friend's birthday...at the Egerton House Hotel. It could not have been more special. Everything about this small hotel is lovely but the most important thing is how we, as guests, were made to feel. Steve & Lynn

Lovely hotel with impeccable service. We visited with our teenage children and friends to celebrate a special birthday and anniversary. The rooms are individual, quiet and comfortable and the staff were attentive. Our bed was decorated with rose petals and floating candles and petal in the bath too. A lovely surprise! We would love to return.

My choise for this hotel was based on excellent reviews found on Trip Advisor and similar sites. when we arrived I was really disappointed. The hotel is very small but more important the room - Studio suite (don't know why it is called like this) was very very small. At night I could hear the people in the room on... More

A really welcoming hotel with great friendly happy staff and a homely feel. The reason why we didn't give it 5 stars is because of issues with cold bathrooms and showers not working properly. We changed rooms during our 4 day stay but still had the same problems regarding the cold bathroom. The freshly cooked breakfasts were lovely and there... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
