The hotel is literally a 1/2 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station. We stayed in the double bed standard room. We checked in at 2pm (an hour earlier than it states on the confirmation) I've seen a lot of reviews on here complimenting Bimal (I think that's right sorry if it's not!) and we could not fault him, he... Well located (2 minutes away from Gloucester Road station) and providing all services needed when travelling business. The rooms are not big but comfortable and decent for the price. Breakfast is very good as usual at Radisson hotels.

Hotel was very clean and welcoming. Easy to get to from tube and very close to the museums - 5 mins to Natural History, for example. We were upgraded as an early check-in wasn't possible. The upgraded room was very nice with lovely decor and furnishings. The bathroom was tiny - but had everything needed. The lifts would be my... More

One can board the subway at Heathrow, and stay on the same train to Gloucester Road. On exiting from the subway, the hotel is a stone's-throw away, on level ground, so if you are towing a suitcase, you don't need to use a taxi. The building is old (hence Edwardian) but has been renovated to modern standards. Safe location with... More

Room comfortable, this is an old hotel and we found the experience of getting out of our room fasciinating. One has to go through a series of doors to exit from your room to the reception. I think I counted 7 or was it 8? Service and staff was great. Breakfast was beautiful. Evening meal was lovely if not a... More

Hotel staff is really nice and friendly. They are helpful if you need any additional information. Hotel room was quit small although we had deluxe room but we managed to stay in it. Shower did not work properly and after the 3rd person, it was fixed. Air condition worked properly. Although our room was to the street on the 3rd... More

My daughter booked a one night stay so that we could visit the Shard and see Les Miserables - and yes she might have mentioned that the occasion was my birthday! On arrival the lovely lady on reception told us that we had been upgraded to an amazing suite on the first floor - absolutely gorgeous bathroom, a bedroom with... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
