Four of us stayed for 2 nights and could not really fault this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was a hassle. Our rooms were lovely, the only criticism was the bathroom which was small but we can live with that. The location was excellent and in a fabulous part of the city, walking distance to... More

This is the second time we have stayed here .Lovely ,helpful staff . Our room was on the ground floor , there was plenty of space, a clean , comfortable room . We will be staying again next year . Many thanks to all the staff which made our stay so pleasant.

Stayed here for three nights. Television not working, one tiny lift that's always busy, came back to find cleaner in my room still at 5.30 in the evening, poky little room. Miserable little hole. Best avoid

I just checked in moments ago and I am so impressed by the service that I had to write; the man checking me in was very helpful and polite and went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. The room is modern and probably the most spacious I've seen in London, with a beautiful spacious bathroom... More

My stay was very pleasant. The rooms are typically small, but well turned out, with a comfy bed and linens. I particularly appreciated the friendly and efficient staff, specially at reception and behind the bar. The hotel is convenient to museums, Hyde Park, and the Glousester Road Underground station, with direct service to Heathrow. And there are many good restaurants... More

Smallest hotel room I've ever seen. So small it's completely impractical. No room for any power points other than the one the TV is plugged into. Room to small to open up an ironing board and bathroom so small the sink overhangs the toilet. Staff are super, accommodation is totally impractical for a grown up.

We had a fantastic experience using this hotel for a group of delegates. Staff were kind and responsive, helping with complicated delgate requirments. The hotel has good transport links and is smart and comfortable. Would certainly recommend.

We quite enjoyed our stay except for the very small room the blocked bathroom sink which was never fixed and queuing for breakfast. The positives are that the bed is reasonably comfortable and when you get breakfast it is good and the staff are fairly helpful. It is also well placed for travelling into central London which is its main... More

Stayed here late October and left with very positive feelings. The staff are a high point and were all very helpful and pleasant. Fanatstic location in London and so handy for the underground. Bar and restaurants good and the room was big enough for the three of us (little lad on a sofa bed) but was a tad noisy with... More

I stay at this hotel regularly on business. I work in Westminster so in terms of convenience it's fantastic - just 5 stops on the District Line. The hotel is a two minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station so even in impractical shoes and laden down with suitcases, laptops and my handbag it's not a problem. The hotel staff... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
