I have stayed at many Radissons over the years so was keen to experience this London refurbishment. Superficially it looks great but the practical experience of staying in the hotel proved to be deeply disappointing. First we must haves had the two rooms furthest from the elevator (which happens to everyone from time to time) but in this case we... More

We picked this hotel due to convenience for a late night Prom at the Albert hall. We were booked into a double but were offered an upgrade to 2 singles. The rooms were quite spacious for singles in London. Both rooms had free bottled water, nice toiletries and some handmade chocolates which were a lovely touch. The bathrooms have everything... More

What can I say this is a beautiful hotel and only a few minutes walk from Gloucester Road Tube station. I asked for a high floor which I got! The room was compact but very comfortable. I felt very safe in there. I was close to the lift & a fire door but could not hear a peep! There was... More

Stayed at the at the Radisson for one night to attend an event in Hyde Park. Found the location great; literally two minutes walk from nearest tube. The room was perfectly functional; decent size with good size bathroom, it was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was of a quality rather than quantity offering; great continental and British options - perhaps... More

Had a one night stay in this hotel. It was more than average but not as high as 'very good'. The reception staff were very nice but the breakfast was disorganised as the staff seemed to be busy at the bar area rather than ensuring that the guests were promptly seated. Not the best Radisson that I've been to but... More

Great location! Good price, good rooms even though they are a bit small. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was OK. I will stay here again in the future either for business or with family. Scott

On a sweltering summer day, I was met with glasses of chilled water and a very friendly and efficient check in. Staff member Clara went out of her way to find me the best room to meet my needs and she told me a little about the building's history (it is a stunning building, the entrance in particular). I'd booked... More

My family and I booked this hotel based on the reviews and the great rates. We were not disappointed! The staff were top notch! Everyone from Jubril, who on his day off made sure our airport pick went smooth, to the warm welcome from Filipa and Pierre at the front desk. The restaurant, Scott & Banter served excellent food and... More

2 minute walk from Gloucester Rd Tube Station - 5 minute walk to Natural History Museum, so was a perfect location for a first visit as a family to London with my husband and 6 year old son. Welcome was warm and smiley and had a lovely banter with man on front desk and he was so kind and friendly... More

When we arrived we found they had messed up our booking but they were happy to give us a room before everything was sorted. We appreciated the good red wine they later gave us when our booking was confirmed. Very close to Gloucester Road tube station and South Kensington tube both these have many and varied eating places. Close also... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
