I have now stayed several times at Dukes so can speak with some authority - it is a little gem in central London. Rooms and beds were clean, comfortable and quiet with more spaace that usual in a European hotel in a traditional buiding. Location, just off Picadilly and St James, is superb. What a location: no street noise, so central, wonderful area for just about everything. My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night the other weekend. We had to attend a party in Mayfair and needed a place to lay our heads for the night. We arrived by taxi and were immediately provided assistance from a friendly doorman.
