This places was top notch from the reception/concierge staff to the room service. The locations is amazing as well. It is located within a few minute walk of Picadilly circus and all the metros and busses. This was a Very upscale and proper hotel.

I stayed here as I was attending a business function in the City, and had an enjoyable stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean and full of all the mod cons you would expect, of such a high profile hotel. Breakfast staff a breath of fresh air, all smiles and couldn't do enough. It's difficult to find any fault, as there... More

The hotel is situated in central London, next to Piccadilly and in a quiet street famous for upscale gentlemen's clothing stores. Very close to the posh Fortum & Mason store. If you reserve this hotel you shouldn't leave without going inside the mentioned store. The hotel room was small, but you can of expect that in Europe. The bed was... More

It feels luxurious and the service is good. The concierge was helpful. Clean and nicely furnished. They have a good restaurant in house too. It's close to the metro & buses. The shopping and great restaurants are close too. The one thing that I really think they should change, is the overwhelming perfume in the lobby. Yes, they have their... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights for my birthday. It was our second trip to the hotel as we stayed last year for my birthday too. I mentioned this as we checked in and dropped our cases off. When we returned later that afternoon the cases had been taken to our room and there was a birthday... More

The conceirge was immediately helpful and took our car away for safe parking, reasonable rate for 2 days parking ie i night at £40. Noni the Receptionist was also very welcoming and informative. When we entered room lock was slightly stuck a cleaner saw us struggle within 5 minutes without saying anything a maintenance gentleman knocked our door so he... More

We stayed here over the August bank holiday weekend and from checking in to checking out it was all perfect. We had been upgraded when we checked in and the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. I had requested a high floor with a view and we where on floor 14 and the view of London from our window was... More

We stayed one night here and we're very impressed. The nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The building was in perfect shape, the staff friendly and helpful, and the room superb. We enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast too. There is also a useful left luggage facility which made our trip even better. 8 min walk to Buckingham Palace. Don't... More

What a pleasant reception we had!!! We got a very good deal from Booking.com, asked for a bigger room and on arrival we got an upgrade. The normal rooms are very small as well as the bathrooms. But the location of the hotel is excellent for centre London. And staff is very helpful.

As London was to be the centre of our long trip, we booked and paid for our 10 days, 4 months before our arrival. Two days before leaving Europe for London, I checked the Cavendish web site and found they offered a new deal for the same room rate per night and including breakfast. Breakfast, we found cost £22 per... More

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
