3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed at the Cavendish recently and we got exactly what we expected for the price given how costly Central London is overall. Rooms are small, efficient, clean and fully equipped. Reception area and lounge are fine but you wouldn't go out of your way to spend time there. Service is functional but no surprises to the upside. The overwhelming positive... More

We were able to snag a room for less than $260 pounds a night on our 5 night stay in London through Expedia. Although the room was small, it had a comfortable bed. The amenities were very clean, and modern. My only complaint is that the plumbing drainage could have been better. The location in Soho is central to the... More

Let me start by saying I had no I idea about this Hotel when I book it. Turns out that it's close by 2 Underground station and walking distant to many sightseeing locations. Piccadilly Circus is only 2 blocks away and if you plan on taking any tours it's only 2 blocks to Green Park and the Ritz where many... More

Just returned from a week stay at the Cavendish, London. The hotel staff was helpful; our room was always clean and tidy; great location only a two block walk to Piccadilly and the Green Park tube stop. We would stay again at the Cavendish when we return to London.

The room was very comfortable including the bed and a large desk to keep our stuff organized. It was very quiet in our room despite the close proximity of noisy pubs and Piccadilly Circus. Location: Bus Stop 1 block, Underground 3 blocks, convenience store 2 blocks. Staff were very friendly and ready to answer questions to help us get the... More

We are staying here for 2 nights as a mini honeymoon break before we go off to the Maldives, having stayed in London many times we can honestly say that this has to be the best hotel yet we are in room 1415 and the view is incredible. Very good care of all employees who looked after us, magnificent rooms in its highest floor - no elevator. Good restaurant, Grand parking. I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit London, it is worth paying a little more

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very central to Piccadilly and Green Park tube stations. It is also on a direct bus route to Harrods. We found it very convenient for London city airport - 3 stops on the DLR and then direct journey on Jubilee line to Green park .... More

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
