Me and my friends booked this hotel as a last minute trip and we got a very good price. The hotel is not in Central London but we were right by the tube so it was easy to get in and out of Central London. The hotel was nice and clean, the staff were friendly, we got breakfast included. We... More

Stayed at this guest house for approx 7 nights in Sept 2013 - it immediately struck us for the slightly shabby appearance (e.g. cracked floors), but for the cheapest rates avb we had found (abt £100 per night!) this was acceptable. However, POOR MAINTENANCE & HYGIENE marked our experience - discovered a mouse lurking in our bathroom since hole under... More

Where do I begin???? Terrible is a mild word to describe this place. The receptionist is HOSTILE. I don't think she's good for your business, Owners Cleanliness left lot to be desired, I don't think the carpet was ever vaccuummed The linen was stained and the beds lumpy. fans are not provided in hot July weather and we had to... Nice and clean rooms in an old building with some cracks on the walls and windows. Rooms and bathrooms are really small. Not recomended for families or overweight people. Suitable for lonely people or young couples. Not very good value for money, very expensive nights (120 British pounds for one double room with private bathroom and breakfast) comparing to what... Assumed room would be small as space is at a premium in London, but was shocked at how small. I had a double and was staying by myself but still had to move things out of way so I could navigate around room. Wasn't sure if I was overreacting so went and had a mosey at couple of other hotels... More

So we arrived and the receptionist was unbelievably rude, made us feel unwelcome. Everything was too much hassle. It seems that booking.com had booked us in without taking our card details (not our problem) so the receptionist told us off like a head teacher speaking to children!! The room was very basic which is what we expected considering the price.... More

For the life of you and your happiness- STAY AWAY from this..this shack!! One star is too kind for this place!where to start?! the staff were unbelivably rude, unfriendly and unhelpful! My room had no A/C or windows and became stuffy and uncomfortable very quickly- the only relief came from a small patio door- which concerned me as i won't deem it... The hotel is acceptable for a short stay, location is very good. Good restaurants, ATM nearby and Underground station Queens Way (central line) within 7 min walk. Not very expensive and it is good value for the money. Nice people in the reception

Booked our room through Wotif, knowing we wanted to stay somewhere close to Paddington Station in the general Bayswater area. We booked a room for 3, and Wotif put a disclaimer on that we may not get 3x beds and best to check with the hotel. I left it to chance knowing that we were going to be tired enough... More

We stayed there with my family for a couple of days during sightseeing in London. The rooms are equipped with basic amenities, but the location is quite convenient, near Hyde Park, Tube and bus stops. Breakfasts are quite basic, but all in all it's a good place for a base when you travel to London for sightseeing.
