We visited the Oxford Hotel and it wasn't too bad. The rooms were small, and the bathrooms even smaller (the shower didn't work most times due to low water pressure and severe temperature changes). We lived on the third door, and the stairs were hell, due to them being very narrow and steep. Thanks to our third floor room we... More

We stayed here for 12 nights in May and enjoyed our stay. Every day consisted of leaving early in the morning to sightsee and explore and returning late at night to shower and sleep. If, like us,you're in London as an eager and curious tourist who will use the hotel as little more than a place to rest at night,... More

My mother and I stayed here one night when we first landed in London. It had a very convenient location, very reasonable prices, and the room was quiet and clean- even if it was a little small. They were skimpy on the towels, but the shower had plenty of hot water. It worked well for what we needed- a place... More

Cheap and cheerful. We arrived from Australia absolutely exhausted, at 9 in the morning and were able to check in immediately. Service was friendly and fairly fast. Rooms are tiny but if the basics are all you need then it's fine. The shower was very small but if you have a sense of humour it's fine! Water pressure was good... More

I recently stayed here with a group of friends and none of us were very impressed. We weren't expecting 5* luxury but for the price we paid we expected much better. The rooms were cold with a musty smell and the staff were unhelpful and rather rude. When we asked to speak to the manager we were told no-one would... More

To call this place a hotel is an outrageous overstatement. We booked through hotels.com at a "discounted" rate of approximately $150/night (excluding taxes). European rooms generally run smaller than most, but this was ridiculous. Add to that the utter uncleanliness and it was intolerable. We didn't stay more than a few hours before we re-booked our stay at another hotel... More

Lonely Planet describes this hotel as tired. This comes very close. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. However the hotel itself is long due for a brush up, though I doubt such costly plans are laid. Rooms are small, bathrooms minuscule and stairs very narrow. Breakfast is bland (cereal, white bread, jam, butter, some wierd orange juice, tea... More

Accommodation during a long weekend in London. Our quadruple room was plenty spaceous since we were only 2 people. The room was on the third floor. The staircase was quite small and there was no elevator. We were fine with that, but something to think of for elderly and for families with small children. The room and bathroom were clean,... More

A small good hotel, in a excellent localization. We enjoyed our stay. It's a honest proposal. The staff is very kind, and solved our questions. It's localized near of the Hide Park. We recommend for everyone.
