Checked in on 19/01/15. Warning bells were set off on entering the lobby with numerous amounts of baggage stacked up in various areas. Checked in having been required to pay first. Were shown to our room which required travelling in a two person lift. If you had a reasonable amount of luggage it would probably require a couple of trips.... More

Ok, we only wanted an overnight stay in Mayfair, but good golly, this was not a pleasant experience. As soon as we entered the reception, the alarm bells were breaking my skull in half. A somewhat disinterested chap booked us in (and I have to say, if I were working here, I'd have a similar outlook). Our room was top... More

Checked in on 28/12/14 with two other family members. The location was great, extremely close to Marble Arch and other attractions in London. The exterior of the hotel seemed classic and elegant, yet the interior was terrible. The reception was poorly lit and the lift was very crammed. We were allocated the top floor and after hauling our luggage into... More

We stayed at Rose Court for a theatre break. Its location is perfect right next to Marble Arch on Oxford street. There is an Ncp car park virtually next door but remember to pre book your space here on line. After reading the reviews we weren't expecting a lot but it was really good value for money. We were met... More

This hotel is in a fantastic spot if your shopping in Oxford St, just a five minute walk from Marble Arch. Me and my son stayed for one night as we were only in London to Christmas shop. Yes, its in need of decorating, but for one night it was fine. The room was small with a small bathroom, but... More

This hotel is in a prime location for visiting London. The staff are generally helpful and helpful. Unfortunately this is marred by poor quality rooms and breakfast. The room was dark with very poor lighting, so much so that my wife had difficulty applying make-up. The room was cold. The bathroom is in need of refurbishment, the quality of finish... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
