I paid £30 to stay here. Which, in london, is really low cost! I stayed because I finished work in the west end at 10pm and had to work at 8am next day. I actually live in London! Zone 5! It was cheaper than 2 trains and 2 taxis! For this I got a lovely comfy bed, quiet clean hotel... More

Booked an overnight stay here through late rooms. £36 total for bed and breakfast. Considering its location Marble Arch, and less than 5 mins walk from Oxford Street this was amazingly good value. The room was warm, clean and had everything required. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was more than adequate and the whole place was well looked after.... More

Location: This hotel is just a few minutes walk from Marble Arch Station (right at the end of Oxford Street) up along Great Cumberland Place. it is a great central location to explore London. This Hotel is within walking distance of a number of London's attractions including Hyde park, Oxford Street, the west end. With excellent bus and tube services... More

Stayed here recently, lovely staff, friendly and welcoming. Hotel however, is pretty dire, gaps in the bedroom window which made it very noisy as its on a busy road, plug sockets loose on the wall so nervous to use them, broken shower head, everything in the room very old and pretty worn out.

- Very small room - lots of draught through the closed windows - bathroom totally terrible - Everything old, used, worn out - pictures on webpage must be 20 years old - breakfast very simple and far way from tasty or sufficient

Stayed 4 nights in a twin share room which initially we were a bit concerned about due to the dated interior and very old fittings. However once past that it was a great cheap place to stay staff were more than willing to help. Breakfast was simple but plenty, you could order full cooked breakfast for additional cost if preferred.... More

Booked a room via lastminute.com to stay over after a work event. The room was v small. The heater on full so I had to leave the window wide open. The bed was lumpy and the shower not v powerful. My room was poorly signposted and I had to go through a door with a missing window. Would have preferred... More

Having stayed in hundreds of hotels in over 40 countries, this was the worst. I had a single room outside which was a mouse deterrant! Inside the window was so dirty it was difficult to see out and the shabby curtain hardly moved. There was a kettle but no tea or biscuits. The sitting area, by the reception desk consisted... More

Allocated a tiny fourth floor room and surprised to find the elevator only went to the third floor. Bags had to be carried up a tiny staircase. Paint flaking off walls, dirty bathroom and powerpoints and light fittings hanging out of walls.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
