Me and my two friends stayed here on Saturday 29th August and have to say we were very happy with the service and the hotel itself. We paid ~£40 each for the night and considering we were in the prime location of Marble Arch (right next to Hyde Park and Oxford St) we were satisfied with this price! The building... More

We Were staying for 3 nights, and i would never recomend the place ever. Smiley Staff, but they smoke inside, the brekfast is so poorly, roms avfall and dirty. Puke and dirt on the walls, i wouldn't think of what's in the carpets. Ok space, and sentral place, thats it. And the price is hevily overpriced lokking at the standard.

we were staying the night in london and needed somewhere at least comfortable and decent to sleep for the night. i didn't have my phone so i called last minute.com for a good hotel in the west end because of accessibility to all the places i needed to be. so i called and booked 2 rooms and the thing is... Located surprisingly well, three minutes walk to the place where the famous Oxford street begins, this hotel may have been nice in a passed era, if ever. The building interiors could actually be nice due to some generous interior staircase, but the "decorator" was so cheap that spoiled this possible advantage. In the lobby you can see the safe boxes,... More

Location fantastic . BUT - hotel drab, old and needing a good clean and paint . Small, dingy bathroom, bedroom furniture cheap and rickety, blankets and quilt smelt musty though sheets and towels clean. Curtains torn and worn. Paintwork and decor in need of serious clean or repaint. Staff smoking despite notices. TV didn't work.

Great location for shopping in London, within easy walking distance of Oxford Street and Regent Street. The hotel itself, however, is of poor standard. Our room (106) desperately needed to be refurbished, beds were very hard and uncomfortable, bathroom was disgusting with mold and stains, breakfast was a joke - with very limited choice, stale bread and the worst scrambled... This hotel must have been nice at one time. Not any more. Furnishings must not have been updated in decades. The beds were awful. We slept only because we were quite tired. Our room on the first floor was noisy, of course, due to traffic on the street. Bathroom was fairly large. The tub/shower was set quite high from the... More

I came here as a group of 4 males while we were at Wireless Festival at Finsbury Park, location wise is perfect as it is a 1 minute walk to the nearest Underground station which links you in with everything. Breakfast was ok, some croissants and other breads with some cereal choices, however no choices of meats/cheeses. The £4 for... More

Stayed 3 years ago and it was fair. Gone way down hill. So bad we tried to find alternative accomodation. Bed covers, old, faded and badly stained. Used these and blankets to cover carpet so we did not need to walk on it. No temperature control apart for fan that creaked all night. Main light in bathroom did not work. This... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
