We had 3 booked for a friend's birthday party. We all had clean rooms, pristine sheets and towels and a reasonable breakfast. The en-suite facilities were small but did the job. The Sri Lankan family made us very welcome. What do people who criticise the hotel expect in Central London for £65 per night!

Terrible indeed! I'd say I stayed in a storage room rather than a normal bedroom for 60 quid! I would never expect myself ever to be asked about my religious beliefs at a hotel! why would this matter?! surprisingly the whole attitude changed afterwards accordingly! they changed my booked room into another one where you can barely stand up. there... I have always been a fair minded person and in defence, I must state that this is not a 5 star hotel and the facilities provided are more than adequate for the rates. I was only there for a night and had breakfast which was just great. Very sad to read some of the negative comments.

My partner and I stayed there the last two nights, it was awful. Got to the hotel at 1pm, greeted by quite an abrupt man who didn't really know what he was doing and made sure we knew that. Kept telling us he 'didn't normally do this job'.. so?! He asked us what breakfast we wanted, full English or continental.... More

Booked this "Hotel" as a last minute thing as was taking my Girlfriend to see the show Wicked. Upon arriving at 1.30pm, our room was not cleaned or read (their website says check in would be from 11am) so we were not able to relax for half an hour and had to rush to get changed for the show. Having... More

Not sure where to start really....I found this place at 3am just before the Easter (luckily) and paid for 2 nights. Big mistake. Hotel is just dirty.. see my pictures. Breakfast was disgusting...still remember the bad smell of oil. Bathrooms are filthy and the smell is really bad. Beds are small and uncomfortable. After ordering a pizza got advice to... More

I was in this place for most of December and left in the new year. My 1st impression on arrival was not fantastic as the place is a bit antiquated and needs some decor work. Yet in fairness it did suit all my needs. I didn’t want The Plaza just, a cheep yet clean place to hold up temporarily till... More

Oh my god...think faulty towers...think one thousand times worse! Firstly it stank of an old bird hut...there were cleaners everywhere but nothing was clean!!! The lady had no clue what was happening when we turned up! Bless her though...she did let us check in early with no added charge! The room was still untidy from the previous guest so there... More

I dont know where to start, i stayed here with my mother after attending the Chelsea Flower show. This 'hotel' spoiled our stay and if we hadn't paid up front we would definitely have gone elsewhere. I will be frank, this place is a dump!! More like a hostel than a 'Hotel'. I tried to charge my phone in a... More
