The Studios is located only a short walk from Bayswater tube station and in a very well situated part of London. There's quite many pubs and restaurants around and no problem finding a Tesco either. I stayed in a small 1 bed studio with a small kitchen area. With English standards it was top class but with Sweden standards it... More

Our room was very nice for the 4 of our family with a small kitchen and nicely decorated rooms. Small but nice bathroom. Nowhere to hang clothing. Pay laundry on site. Iron and ironing board available. Good location. Four blocks away from Bayswater tube station. Get specific directions before coming.

I am writing this at 12 am as out in the street right outside my window a fight has now happened. Considering this is Nottinghill I am somewhat surprised. Or should I be ? We have had most people shouting , cars zooming by ,dogs barking etc. The windows are useless . I am deeply saddened that such a beautiful... More

This was by far, my favourite hotel of all our accommodation during our four weeks. We had 4 star all the way however, this one was simply the best. A beautiful old Edwardian Villa, transformed in to a boutique hotel. Our room was large, light, bright and beautifully decorated. The entire hotel was beautifully furnished. There was cosy lounge to... More

I stayed for two nights in the single studio. The neighbourhood is lovely, white historic buildings, you can feel the past. The place is conveniently located only 5min walk from Bayswater tube station, and within a walking distance from Portobello Road. I was greeted by a friendly staff member everytime I walked in. The studio itself was a bit quirky,... More

Very nice hotel with fairly large room & bath. Little microwave, fridge & coffeemaker (but the wall plug for it didn't work). Very clean & front desk was very nice. Good location for walk to Portabello Mkt. Wifi slow. Stayed 4 nights. On the second night a party was being held outside our window at the place next door, so... More

My family of 4 stayed in the downstairs 2-bedroom apartment. It was really perfect for us. It was newly remodeled, and we were the first guests. It was very comfortable and quiet. We found it to be perfect for relaxing after long days on our feet touring museums and other site-seeing. Being in the basement, it stayed cool despite the... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2015 via mobile

My usual hotel was booked so I stayed at Vancouver Studios for 5 nights over Easter weekend. Other than a small glitch when I checked in (I checked in and went to my room only to discover it hadn't been fully cleaned) I had a great stay. My studio was on the second floor and overlooked the street. Despite other... More

I spent two nights at the Vancouver Studios in London over a weekend. The hotel is easy to find, a short walking distance from Bayswater tube station and has a 24 hour reception desk. The staff were friendly and the rooms are small but neat and very clean. My room was on the third floor and to reach it I... More

On the day before we were to fly out our travel agent told us our accommodation had fallen thru and they found Vancouver Studios for us as an alternative. How lucky were we. Fantastic Location, shops just across the road and restaurants below our apartment. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Kitchen was great and had everything we needed. I... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
