Seems the way to go if spending enough time in London. There are studios at Princes Garden location. As noted in my title, we rented at Talbot Road, about 3-4 blocks from Prince's Square, the 2 bedroom (one very small but adequate for one person), 2 bathrooms (a plus, although one very small), living room and kitchen. Decent size refrigerator... More

I'm a bit torn about this rating. On the one hand, I give management 5 stars. They were professional and accommodating, especially the front desk lady in the hijab, as we had a melt down about the room we were given that, after later looking at our emails, turned out to be entirely our fault. So my apologies and kudos... More

This was my second time at Vancouver Studios and I was glad to know that this charming hotel had not changed. Clean and well equiped rooms, friendly staff and wonderful location. Everything you need to enjoy a pleasant stay in London. I will certainly come back!

This is a well located place to stay in London. Close to lots of shops, good restaurants, the underground and bus stops. Our room was up about two flights of stairs on the second floor. The room was small but very comfortably furnished with a small kitchen area which was well equipped. The bathroom was small but again well equipped.... More

We loved our week-long stay at this charming little hotel, which features a patio garden, common sitting area, and a resident cat. Having a kitchenette meant we could save a lot of money on meals (London is very expensive), plus they provide coffee, tea and biscuits. They also offer umbrellas for rainy days, and there's a computer/printer so you can... More

The week before this we stayed in a 'triple room' at a nearby hotel and paid £185 per night for it. that was microscopic and not very nice. For this lovely, modern 1-bedroom apartment we paid £205 and it was a world apart. There was plenty of room for 2 adults and our 2 kids on the big sofa bed.... More

I liked everything about this place: the accommodation is stylish & immaculate, the staff are friendly & helpful, & it's in a great part of London. It's also very good value for money in London. I'll look forward to returning. (A note to management: all the staff were good, but you mustn't lose the young Latvian woman on the front... More

We were shocked to find no lift and we were up 4 flights of stairs. No one helped carry bags and I could not lift mine high enough because of the steepness of the stairs. Cases were heavy as we were away for 6 weeks and needed warm and cool clothing. Being so high up in the studio, our room... More

We came in early on the day to drop our bags off which they were very happy to do. when we came back they had upgraded us to a much more spacious apartment. This hotel is very central in Bayswater with an interesting array of antiques everywhere and even in the rooms. Our apartment had a washing machine/dryer making life... More

We stayed in one of the Vancouver Studio apartments, which was about five minutes walk from the main building. A taxi dropped us at the main office, where we checked in and were given the keys and directions to the apartment. It wasn't difficult to find, but being new to London (and England) were completely sure we were in the... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
