This hotel is trying to pull itself out of the bad reviews and I believe they are on their way! I booked a quad room for four adults. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to two double rooms! Not only that, but the friendly staff put toiletries, chocolate and a bottle of wine with a sweet note in our room! It... More

This isn't a review of our stay at this hotel as we did not get to stay there but our experience can't even be described as Fawlty Towers!!! I had booked two double rooms over the phone about three months previously and was given a reference number. This should have raised alarm belss as I was told it would be... More

We recently stayed at this Hotel during our six day trip to London (end July). After doing the online booking, I was reading all bad reviews of this hotel. Basically, almost all hotels in London city (even the 5 star hotels) had a fair share of bad reviews. We maintained our booking and hoped for the best. We were indeed... More

We've stead at the hotel for 1 night and we loved it, very good price in a central location. Hotel is clean, quiet, fool English breakfast, and what we needed most parking space right in the front of the hotel. Very good with communication, got an answer for our request straight away. Would recommend to everyone and defiantly would stay... More

Booked the hotel via booking.com months in advance. Went to London for a solo weekend trip. I am not fussy about hotels as they are mainly for luggage storage and sleeping. Arrived at the Kingsway earlyFriday evening. Was met by a lady who asked me to sign the register. Another fellow behind the desk identified me by name as having... More

Just stayed at this hotel for a week long city trip of London. So, let's have a look at the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The Good: The hotel is situated at a 5 minute walk from the Paddington station/underground. As such, it's a highly convenient base of operation to explore the city. Also, the rooms have free (stable)... More

The staff are disorganised at best and downright rude on occasions, one night porter was okay. The rooms are a very low standard very small and very hot. Health and safety wise this hotel is an accident waiting to happen the plug sockets were hanging off in our rooms and some didn't work, stairs are steep and dangerous the higher... More

Lets start with the good. Location was good. Always had a good place to eat right near us. Free WiFi. We had a nice walk to the Italian Garden and Hyde Park. The rooms did not have bugs and was fairly clean. The bathroom had just been remodeled and the water was hot. There was a nice television on the... More

Looks good on the hotel website. Do not be fooled!!! This place is totally charmless. From the minute you walk in to the tatty amateurish "reception" you know that you have made a mistake. Its an old building and you accept that not everything will be perfect but it has stripped of any charm and character and is shabbily decorated -... More

A hotel run for the benefit of the owners with little regard for the travelers. Witness people sitting in the lobby waiting for a room with no available key while the phone rings and no one answers. Witness small, hot rooms up steep stairs with tiny windows. Witness no towels for 24 hours. Witness no way to resolve disputes. Booking.com... More
