Nicely sized room, but the air conditioning didn't seem to work properly. Stepping into my floor (3rd floor) felt like a sauna. The most irritating thing about this hotel was the wifi. It was incredibly slow and would constantly disconnect. I heard others complaining about the wifi. If you are in need of internet during your stay, AVOID this hotel.... More

Upon making a prepaid reservation I was told on arrival that the reservation system is down and my room wouldn't be made available (in spite producing a confirmation receipt and proof of payment), and was asked to leave. Upon making a reservation at another hotel on my wait out the reception attendant told me if I leave they would not... More

We stayed here for the night after visiting the Ideal Home Christmas Exhibition at Earls Court. My family used to own one of the houses in Lexham Gardens, and I remembered this hotel but had never been inside. The reception staff were friendly and polite. Rooms are a little on the small side, but had everything one needs, and were... More

My family and I stayed at the ParkCity this spring during our London vacation. We arrived very tired after flying from the U.S. overnight. The staff was very friendly and helpful and got us into a great room very quickly. They were patient with all my questions about features and directions, and they remembered us by name as we returned... More

I went to London on a business trip and stayed at this hotel purely because ut was the closest to my colleagues at the Marriott. It was cheaper, friendlier, cleaner than the Marriott(although the bar downstairs did look a little worse for wear, but very functional nevertheless. Mildly eccentric in a truly English way, but not in-your-face eccentric. I loved... More

Very good location close to tube station & Hyde Park. Good breakfast. Very happy with the early check-in when arriving from a long flight. Service very good and efficient. Standard room is too small (go for a deluxe room for a few pounds more!)

I used to like this hotel very much, have been there 3 times and have always recommended to friends and business partners, but my last experience completely changed my mind, in January 2013 First of all, when I contacted the hotel, I was given a rate and when I checked in they told me only he first night price was... I stayed here over 1 year ago. It was one of the best hotel I've stayed. The room was spacious and the 3 large full size window give the room a welcoming feel. I especially love the view of the hotel from the outside, it looks like a high end residential building. The service was very well done, especially Jeroslaw,... More

We spent 5 days at the Park City Hotel. The room was a good size as was the bathroom. Even though we were overlooking the street, the room was quiet and peaceful, sleep quality really good (I am a very light sleeper). Big comfotrable bed with enough room for suitcases and moving around (comparing to many tiny centre city hotel... More

Tucked away in Lexham Gardens, is a gem of a hotel that's well worth a visit. From the terrace garden to the excellent bedroom we have enjoyed an excellent stay. Breakfast was top rate and service above average.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
