I booked this hotel for a 3 night midweek stay in June 2015. I was struggling to get a more central hotel at a decent price but eventually took this one based on previous reviews. On the plus side, the hotel is in a quiet side street off Cromwell Road. There are two tube stations in easy reach with probably... More

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Park City Hotel. Fantastic. Lovely, large, airy room, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, immaculate well stocked bathroom. Quality toiletries, towels, bed linen. Lovely continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Pleasant and welcoming staff. Choice of two tube stations, Gloucester Road would be the nearest I would think. Within walking distance of the... More

We booked through expedia just a few days before the trip- got the cheapest price and 10% cash back through quidco :) Location- 5 min walk to the tube, very convenient being on Piccadilly line so easy to get to Kensington, leicester square, kings cross etc. The max number of changes to get to most of the main tourist locations... Good location. Spacious and comfortable. Its a Malaysian owned hotel and tourist intending to visit malaysia should stay there and enjoy malaysian cuisine as well as hawker food dished out by chef Mary from Penang. Excellent food coupled with nice ambience including friendly staff. Certainly made my day. Will definately return there.

We had a nice spacious room at the front of the hotel, and overall were well looked after by pleasant staff on our recent 2 night stay. The hotel is in a quiet location 5 minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station and simialr distace to Kensington High Street. I would recommend it as a good value option, although to... More

I have to say the hotel was clean and friendly however we were disappointed to be told at check in they do not have twin rooms which is what we booked. As my mother and I were only staying one night we didn't mind sharing a double but were not happy about being placed into a disabled room with only... More

Staff very pleasant, room not as described on website - room 501b, supposed to be a deluxe double, did not have a dressing table or chair or mirror in bedroom so was not ideal for getting ready. Bathroom very nice, purchased the room on a B & B basis but no one explained that was just for continental breakfast -... More

We booked this hotel on the basis of other recommendations. To be fair the rooms are clean, generally well appointed and staff helpful. The big let down was that this hotel has clearly been taken over recently and things have changed. We arrived on 13th May on a warm afternoon and decided to go to the garden bar advertised, we... Pluses were: -Generous sized room for London - Central to 2 underground stations - Kensington and Earls court (5 mins walk to each) - Sainsbury supermarket next door, plenty of restaurants less than 10 mins walk away - nice safe clean area - great Thai massage place up the road on Cromwell road - very helpful front desk staff -... Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
