Room was quite small but did the job. Friendly polite staff on reception. Nearby to tube station. Can't complain. Price was reasonable. Hotel is in walking distance of national history museum. Recommended

This was a last minute booking and turned out to be a gem . Good value, polite check in and a very quiet though small room in the basement area [ still had a lower ground floor window however ]. Beautiful bathroom - with even a sewing kit ! Nice bed as well. I was impressed.....it's of course a great... More

We arrived around 6pm and were upgraded to a ground floor triple - more square feet we think. Reception staff very pleasant. Room was clean and nicely decorated - a disabled room so plenty of space. Bed was a little firm for me but my husband slept well. We could hear footsteps upstairs but it wasn't a disturbance. Great location... More

Very nice calm hotel with friendly staff and beautiful neighborhood. Comfortable clean big rooms. Tea and bath facilities. Do not worry about ironing, the room has an iron. The tube is in 5-10 minutes walk. What more could one ask for?

We stayed here last Saturday night for a short break in London with 2 other couples. We all found the hotel very pleasant. Located in a nice residential street just a short walk from Gloucester Road tube. The décor is all new and spotless. Check in was great. We arrived at about 11am, hoping to just leave our bags before... More

We visited this hotel for 2 nights for a little break. I travelled with my husband. The hotel was a little way from the attractions that we wanted to visit but with some research found hoe to get around (use google). The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. The staff were friendly but sometimes difficult to understand. We... More

Check in was slow. However, the lady on reception was warm and friendly. We got a free upgrade to an executive room. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The hotel is spotless and staff go out of their way to say hello to you. The beds are massive and really comfy. the room had air con that heated the... More

The hotel was nice with a friendly staff. Our room was quite big, and had all expected facilities. Location was super, 5 minute walk to the subway and then ten minutes to Leicester square/Oxford circus. Breakfast only downside. Recommended!!

The Park City Grand Plaza Kensington was good, the thing that let us down was the temperature in the room was too hot. However, on alerting the staff, a maintenance crew then managed to reduce the temperature slightly. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was good, it was Malaysian cuisine. Car parking off-street is available, this made the... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
