The hotel is located close to two subway stations, Hyde Park is within walking distance, a lot of restaurants are close to the hotel. The hotel was also very clean, however the room definitely could use an update. The room was very small, which seems to be normal for London, the walls thin so you could listen to the TV... More

We stayed here for a week and found the room clean and quiet. We had room 301 which was on the end with the fire escape next door, between us and other rooms, this might be why it was quiet. Room size was reasonable for London, very comfortable bed and housekeepers did a good job cleaning and making up rooms.... More

I booked this hotel via Thomas Cook, which offerd me quite a reasonable price for a last minute booking. Check in was unfortunately not possible before 2 pm. The room was quite spacious, clean and "good looking", a traditional "classic" design. The bathroom was small but clean and functional. Which is not so common in London. It is centrally located... Overnight stay for business in London. Very fresh design inside, welcoming reception who were happy to look after our bags as we arrived very early. Hotel is really close to lots of shops & bars and the Bayswater tube station. very nice tidy room, nice bar and decent free wifi throughout. Will definitely check if this hotel is available next... We spent 4 days visiting London, the breakfast (continental) was quite nice. the room a bit small, but clean. the only thing I would change is the matress, it was so hard i could feel every spring in my back. The stuff was very helpfull with the check in for our flight and the location of the hotel is really... More

The location was great. Walking distance to restaurants, subway. Very friendly neighborhood. There is a mall right next to this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable. Luckily We found very warm days in London and this hotel doesn't have any air conditioner, they were a couple of fans in the closet for fresh air. I loved it!

Very nice clean and comfortable hotel in great location. Stayed in single room located at rear of building on 2nd floor it was ideal for my short stay (ample space). There was Tea/Coffee with small kettle. TV on wall had a good choice of channels. The hotel was clean and bright loved the bed and bedding. Check in very quick... More

Excellent location. 150m walk to Bayswater tube and 300m walk to Queensway. If only the night bus came by too then this would be a perfect location. Lots to shop and eat nearby, including grocery stores. Hotel used to be a Best Western and it shows. Unfortunatley it feels like this hotel was very neglected maintenance wise for a long... More

Very nice clean and comfortable hotel. A little fridge in the room would be nice for us Aussies who like everything cold. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location. Will definitely stay here again.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
