would never recomend this hotel to anyone, you couldnt swing a cat in the twin room, the onsuite is a cubicle with a shower, sink and toilet with a sliding door, which didnt work, reported it at 4.15pm on day off arrival 8/04/2014 and checked out at 12pm next day 9/04/2014, and it still hadnt been fixed, so had no... Room 132 is the worse room I have ever stayed in. We should have realised things weren't going to be great when we saw the room no. was written on an address label. There were numerous cigarette burns on the carpet, stains running down the wall. The toilet cubicle had a very bad smell which hit you when you opened... More

Stayed one night during stop over in London. Convenient for Heathrow Express and Underground at Paddington Station. Cheap by London standards, but there are reasons for it. Overall the building is run down. The elevator/lift was not working. The stairs are relatively narrow and with many turns. Not recommended for elderly or people with disabilities. The carpet were in many... More

Stayed here for one night, would not have liked more! Room was tiny bathroom even tinier. The floor in room and bathroom was so sloping it felt weird! The bathroom was in dire need of updating. The shower screen on the bath had no rubber so water squirted underneath and on to the floor. However water was scalding hot so... More

Excellent location. Access to all services is great. Yes shower is small but wasn't a big problem. Lift didn't work but good for upper body strength development. Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Am returning there.

We did not have high expectations when we booked the room in the Royal Norfolk Hotel. We saw some bad reviews but the price was really low and the location was ideal so we decided to book a room in the hotel. Receptionist was very kind as the rest of the staff. Room was clean, warm, quiet, pretty small with... More

My husband and I just spent 5days here dreadful, no lift as many have said but we were daft enough to think they might have fixed it wrong, but did get first floor room stuffy small dirty and the smallest bathroom ever which after to days flooded which they tried to blame us for blocking it up, so we had... We have recently stayed in your royal Norfolk hotel in room 216. I would like to highlight that during our stay we found the staff very unhelpful, the only staff member was helpful who was working on the night shift how ever the staff on the morning was very rude. When we checked out he didn't even bother to ask... More

Could be really lovely with a bit of updating and decorating. Room very basic and old fashioned furniture. Bathroom was a nightmare. No way would I have taken a bath as the coating had peeled off and there were terrible stains on the floor. Had to queue half an hour for the breakfast which was very small portions but as... More

We have just returned from a four night stay in this hotel and the only complaint would be no lift as we had four suitcases. The hotel is in a great central area beside Paddington station. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Also a 15 minute walk takes you to marble Arch and Oxford Street or... More
