We had booked another hotel in Central London but we were.relocated here due to an unforeseen problem. The Montcalm is in a good location in a quiet spot 5 minutes walk from Marble Arch tube and Oxford Street. Friendly helpful staff throughout the hotel, nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed our short stay here, comfortable well equipped... More

We stayed here in December and got upgraded to the Royal suite on arrival. Anywhere with a 4 poster bed with twinkling led lights in the ceiling is top dog in my book. Two big bathrooms and a separate dining room! The hotel was expensive but you get what you do get what you pay for. We stayed whilst the... More

Together with my husband we've spend a long weekend in this lovely hotel. The service and the ambiance was fantastic and the hotel has an optimal location. The breakfast was pretty diverse and tasty. I definitely recommend it!

To celebrate my wife's "special" birthday we decided to spend two nights at the Montcalm. The choice could not have been better. The hotel is in an excellent location, in a crescent, minutes away from Oxford Street and Marble Arch. We choose an executive room, which had the benefit of complementary access to the Executive Lounge, a continental breakfast was... More

The hotel staff are amazing, they are very personable and actually remember their returning guests. This goes from the Doorman to the Managers. Service is excellent and ambience is very nice. It's rare to find a boutique hotel that is warm, modern hotel in central London. We've been to this property 5 times in the past 18 months and won't... More

This was a beautiful hotel, we would love to stay there again!! The staff were welcoming and helpful, nothing was any trouble to them. Our room was spacious, luxurious and spotlessly clean. The club lounge was an unexpected treat!, It was the perfect location for our trip to The London Palladium to see Cats as a Big Birthday celebration!

We stayed at the Montcalm twice now (as we like 5* boutique hotels) and on both occasions the stay and service has been impeccable. I would highly recommend this hotel especially for weekend breaks in London. The staff are always attentive, go out their way to help and the hotel provided fruits, cakes, sparkling wine for our room at no... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
