Please don't hesitate to book this hotel! It is wonderful, and although it is a 5 star hotel, you are made to feel welcome and relaxed. It is also spotlessly clean, has the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced, and the breakfast was delicious. I booked the hotel as a surprise for my sister's 40th birthday and it did... More

Had originally bookd a Club Double across the Road at their sister hotel- found myself upgraded. WONDERFUL room - would be a little small for two people for a longer stay but décor, amenities, facilities like Nespresso machines and complimentary fruit and mineral water, wifi and a super big bath. They have an onsite Spa which sadly I had to... More

After a fantastic stay at the Montcalm at the Brewery when we got engaged my partner and I decided to stay at the Montcalm Marble Arch for the London part of our wedding, and I am so glad we did. Upon checking in the guest services manager Laura came to reception to greet us. We had been upgraded to a... More

I booked a king executive club room to celebrate my hubbies birthday which included breakfast and 24/7 access to the club lounge/free coffee/drinks/nibbles etc. I booked using the hotel's own website (as after much online shopping around this proved significantly cheaper - c£360). We were very warmly welcomed and promptly upgraded to the 'WOW suite' which very much lived up... More

My wife and I stayed at the Montcalm on the 16/17th May. We were welcomed with an upgrade to the junior suite and lavished with flowers and champagne in our room, along with Happy Birthday spelt out in rose petals on the four poster bed. Laura looked after us and she was amazing, as were all the staff in the... More

I have stayed at many hotels around the world, but I really have to say this is one of the best! From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left the staff were 1st class! Nothing was a problem at all. The guest relationship Manager was something else - she event went to Selfridges and bought... More

Love the central location around Marblearch. arrival was ok, but the morning after was awesome from the moment we met Janine-the manager. She really rolled out the red carpets for us. complimentary bathrobes, champagne, chocolates, spa treatment etc etc. Theres some montcalm exclusive club thingy near the top floor-thats the place you want to be. Great experience, I and wifey... More

The hotel was very good. The staff was very accommodating! When they heard that we were in London to celebrate my mother´s 70th birthday they arranged with champange in the room at our arrival and a birthday cake! On the bed there was rose peddles that read Happy Birthday. A very nice surprise! There was no problem to get a... More

I booked last minute as a romantic night away and I'm very glad I did. Upon checking in I was warmly greeted and instantly upgraded from a deluxe room to a suite over looking the front of the hotel. The manger and receptionist had 10/10 customer service skills, I cannot highlight that enough. Upon opening the door of my Park... More

A friend and I visited Montcalm for a Spa and lunch experience. We found it tricky to book, and were offered a date in six weeks time. Having now seen the size of the Spa I can understand why. It's not the largest of facilities, but the reservations were managed in such a way that it didn't feel busy offering... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
