I stayed with my daughter for six nights at the end of Febuary. Our room was originally small but the staff was kinf enough to upgrade us. Marius the concierge was absolutely fantastic. Professional. Knwolegable. Plesent. Attentive and kind ! The lady in charge of the dinning room (whose name unfortunately escapes us) was also kind, hospitable and very professional.... More

We stayed for one night in February with our baby. The staff were all very welcoming and we were looked after very well by Laura. We had great drinks in the club lounge in the evening and a lovely breakfast the next morning. We were also able to take our baby swimming in their pool which was lovely and warm... More

I booked a suite for a family trip in London. I often stay at the Montcalm on business and have always been impressed with this, but was a little hesitant about using my usual business hotel for a family trip. Actually. I did not need to worry. We were welcomed with teddybears for the children and upgraded to a larger... More

This is truly a five star hotel. Me and my daughter stayed here for four nights in February. We felt very welcome and got a couple of welcoming emails from the hotel before we even departed to London. There were some nice delicacies, fruits and a cute toy teddy bear left in our beautiful, spacious room. All the staff was... More

Staff are amazingly welcoming and friendly. Daisy, the guest experience manager was enthusiastic and professional. We'd booked a Montcalm club room, but she upgraded us on our arrival to a suite. Thank you Daisy! Wow the suite was amazing and huge! What a superb treat for my wife's birthday! Only slight negative thing was the room was slightly noisy due... More

My husband and I spent four nights here early in February and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of hotel. I couldn't believe what a peaceful oasis this was in the middle of the city. No traffic noise yet only minutes from Marble Arch and busy Oxford Street and no noise from other guests. All the public areas... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
