I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it felt special since the moment we arrived. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist and then personal shown round my suite (we got a free upgrade). All the amenities in the bedroom were modern and simple to use. The hotel knew it was his birthday so left a cake for... More

Currently staying at the MontCalm in London, great hotel, very friendly staff and helpful. Club Room is great for couples, and I do like the office section of the room, as it is all that you need to work on your computer and charge you mobile phone. Place looks very old fashioned but the rooms are quite high tech, iPads... More

We stayed here for one night for my's 40th birthday. Were upgraded to a suite, and had complementary champagne in the room for our arrival. Excellent customer service, staff were polite, very friendly and helpful. Room was excellent, lovely showers and bath fittings. Bed huge and comfortable. Excellent stay for us. Would love to stay again.

This is the second time we came here now to the Montcalm. I decided to treat my grandchildren to an afternoon teddy bears treat for the Easter holidays. The staff on duty were very friendly from The concierge, right through. However, this is not my idea of a five star hotel but the friendly staff compensates for that. The room... More

We stayed from Mon 06.04.15 - Wed 08.04.15 for my wife's birthday. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Service fantastic. Upgraded on arrival, which was brilliant, booked though laterooms and we gave a reason for the nature of our stay, which might have helped with room upgrade. Breakfast very good, lots of variety if a little a little expensive. Spa... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
