Arrived Friday early afternoon. Entered from Picadilly. Carried three big bags. Nobody met me at the door to help, and nobody to be seen when I got inside either. Have to go through a large hall and a lounge area to get to the reception. Friendly staff. Hotell is old and needs to be renovated. Rooms are really small, bathroom... More

This is an awkward hotel and the service and amenities are not up to 5 star status. Rude woman at check-in spoiled our arrival. Hotel itself is tired and is really a glorified 4 star hotel - in short, it's shabby. Needs to be re-rated - there isn't air conditioning, and it has none of the welcoming, comforting touches (slippers,... More

Hotel is absolutely great located right on Piccadilly, which is a great advantage when you visit London's main attractions, shopping and restaurants. Rooms are really old and very small, so take this into consideration when you go there. Also the walls are pretty thin and you can hear well what is going on in the coridor or at neighbor rooms...

One star for the location and a second for the staff - other wise this hotel is a complete zero. Sheraton should be ashamed to put their brand on this run-down hotel, but when you can get top dollar and bookings are close to 100%, they obvisouly don't care! From the lobby the hotel looks like a five-star property, but... More

Stayed at this hotel as a last minute decision and although it has a 5 star rating I was disappointed. The room was tired and only had a very noisy portable air conditioning unit in it. We were given a suggestion for dinner from the concierge who said that the restaurant would be open following our concert and arrived there... More

We stayed at the Park Lane twice; once in August last year and again in May. The first time we stayed we had a standard room and the second time we had a suite. It's fair to say don't waste your money on the suite as the living area is incredibly small and very dingy! Other than that both rooms... More

Room 336 - small, noisy from the air condition - cannot have a good night sleep. I am a platinum SPG member 0 upgrade - I think I got the worst room at the hotel. Poor bell service. In short - never again despite the fact that I have stayed in this hotel for year!! and never got such a... More

Stayed here last weekend for 1 night for a business trip. Immediate impression of the hotel was nice, old style with a lovely art deco bar. Check in was efficient However the room was probably the smallest I have ever stayed in , in any hotel! Not exagerrating - I struggled to wheel my suitcase past the bed as I... More

This hotel used to be where I would usually stay in London, so I am very familiar with it. -Old room, and they vary in size, some small some not so small. -Very comfortable, great value for money and location is very good as well. -Usually check in takes a while because this hotel is quite busy -They are renovating... Afternoon tea here was a birthday treat. The Palm Court Lounge was cool and elegant, a harpist played a selection of tunes which was a nice touch, although I would not have wanted to have a table too close as it would have drowned conversation. Quite a small number of tables so the staff were attentive and not too rushed.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sheraton Park Lane Hotel is centrally located near Buckingham Palace and stroll over to the boutiques of Bond Street, Knightsbridge, and London's West End theatres. As evening falls enjoy a conversation over a world famous English afternoon tea at the Palm Court, or share the tastes of Italy at the Citrus Restaurant. From 1st September 2014, The Park Lane Hotel will be undergoing a transformation. We are very excited to be making a major investment in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas. During this period, the hotel will remain open and will continue to offer all of its current services. ... more   less
