I appreciate that I am a regular at this property but the customer service throughout the hotel is just second to none in particular the front desk team, on recent stay it was my wife’s birthday (a date they discovered!) they could not have done more to make the make her stay a memorable one. Absolutely wonderful and so good... More

We had a suite on the second floor with a direct view to the park. Even with the hotel having ongoing renovations during our stay nothing stopped from having our best time ever. It was superb. Planning to come back to London on December this will be our hotel again. A short walking distance to Soho and across from Buckingham... More

My wife and I stayed at the Park Lane for four nights for a short vacation in London. The best features of this hotel are its location and old world charm. If you're looking for a destination hotel with incredible amenities and service, I'd encourage you to look elsewhere. If you're looking for a good "base" from which to explore... More

Yikes, this was perhaps the worst Sheraton I've stayed at. The room is falling apart, the shower had no pressure and the air conditioner was broken. A maintenance man came into our room to fix it and it worked for about half an hour! I could barely get any sleep due to a man hole cover which rumbled every time... More

My sister and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in the Palm Court. We turned up an hour early and was shown straight to our table. We ordered cocktails while we waited. As soon as the clock ticked over to our booked time we were presented with an amazing plate of well arranged sandwiches, which were absolutely delicious. Our tea... More

We splurged a little here and it was well worth it. The staff ackowleged our anniversary in a very appropriate manor for which I am very greatful. Top marks for customer service with aplomb! We might be back before we leave.

This is not the most expensive hotel in the area nor the most luxurious, however the location is the best for sightseeing and shopping. If you are a runner The best parks are at your doorstep (Green Park. Hyde park etc) The staff at the Park Lane are the tops, nothing is too much trouble for them, my advice is... More

Just as others have said, we were disappointed by the hotel. Staff were nice though. £30 for a £6 merlot! Was not made aware that when you booked bed and breakfast a supplement is charged if you go over a certain amount. So ordering a standard breakfast, with poorly cooked bacon. would take you over this. When I asked about... More

This was my first trip to London on Business and I was excited to stay at what was recommended as a wonderful Hotel. I will start with the good things about the hotel, the bed was wonderful and the towels were excellent, that is about all the good I can possibly think of. I arrived after a long flight from... As an avid runner and one who enjoys to walk around cities, the hotel is in a great location. You can be in the SE gate of Hyde Park in under 10 minutes and be at Buckingham Palace in about the same amount of time. For business travelers, it would also be well located although I was there for leisure.... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
