Excellent location and friendly staff Rooms need remodeling, very old, breakfast and internet very expensive I had to ask them everyday to have my room cleaned. It's not a 5 star, too expensive for what it offers, looks like a 3 stars

This hotel is awful. The rooms are shabby, the staff are rude and unhelpful and I will never stay here again if I can help it . Not even a mini bar in the room, no wifi, no coffee making or kettle, I had to request an iron three times before it came to the room. 0 out of 10.

This is an older hotel with older decor. Still nice and the staff seem friendly and helpful as you would expect. If you are SPG there is no lounge but they do offer a big discount, i think, on drinks etc. in the cafe. Breakfast for SPG (platinum) is free and its a buffet which is good enough. The gym... More

I stayed here for two nights on points last week and was overall extremely disappointment by how much SPG has let this hotel go. You walk into the hotel and its like walking into the 1970s. Everything is old and looks extremely dated. On a positive note, the hotel is in a great location, but I wont be staying here... More

The best part about this hotel is the location. Green Park "tube" station is nearby. Room was adequate with a king bed, bathroom okay. Poor lighting in bedroom. Liked the walk-in closet with safe. Dinner at Citrus was quite good -- in fact, we ate there twice. The only problem is that the hotel's literature in the room stating the... More

I booked this hotel on SPG points so can't comment on the value, but the location was excellent for access to central London. Rooms have a "classic" feel to them. Perhaps a little dated, but they have character which is nice for a large chain hotel. Wifi was expensive, cheaper to just buy a SIM card if you need internet.

We booked this hotel on secret hotels 5* central London. The main communal areas are certainly 5* Palm Court and restaurants very 1920 art deco. Afternoon tea wonderful but a bit pricey at £31 or £41 with a glass of Moet but well worth it you get a lot for your money. Breakfast very expensive at £25.00 per head i... More

This is a lovely older hotel, I was a but panicked when I read all of the less than stellar reviews - however my kids and I were very comfortable with all aspects of this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, comfy king bed and nice spare bed for one kiddo. The bathroom was clean and updated a bit, huge... More

Stayed 6 nights. 3 Rooms per night. Rooms and decor are outdated but they will undergo renovations soon. Great Location and Staff. No in-room coffee makers. Concierge is very knowledgable. Breakfast is fantastic but expensive! Really, expensive. Hit "Pret A Manger" instead, which is 3 blocks away.

Did a family weekend trip to London and stayed here due to very good rate on last minute.com . Was a bit apprehensive due to the poor reviews. But must say that the staff were very friendly. Room was far more spacious than any I have stayed in before in London. Bed was very comfortable. Our stay enhanced due to... More
